Samjeon Station brunch restaurant Que Sera: avocado shrimp sandwich

In short

Que Sera is a brunch restaurant tucked into a quiet residential alley in Jamsil, Songpa, Seoul, about 8 minutes on foot from Samjeon Station Exit 2. We ordered the avocado shrimp sandwich, the mushroom soup and Que Sera's signature lychee drink, and the balance between the English muffin and the fillings was the highlight. Unlike busy Jamsil, Que Sera stays calm and even has terrace seats, which makes it a good pick for meeting a friend or a relaxed date.

While looking for a nice-atmosphere brunch spot in Jamsil, I ended up at Que Sera.

First glimpse of Que Sera, a Jamsil brunch restaurant

Where is Que Sera? 8 minutes on foot from Samjeon Station

Que Sera is tucked into a residential alley near Samjeon Station at 30 Baekjegobun-ro 23-gil, Songpa-gu, Seoul, and I loved the quiet, cozy vibe that felt so different from bustling Jamsil. It's actually about an 8-minute walk from Samjeon Station Exit 2, so it's a decent spot to reach by public transit too.

What is the atmosphere like inside Que Sera?

What I liked from the moment I walked in was Que Sera's overall atmosphere.

It's charming without feeling overly decorated — the warm wood-tone interior blends naturally with plants and small decor pieces, giving it a comfortable feel 🤎. With the soft lighting on top, it was the kind of place where you want to sit for a long while over brunch.

There are little decor pieces scattered around the space, so it was fun to look around while waiting for the food. There's also terrace seating, so on a nice day it seems great to enjoy brunch outside.

How the avocado shrimp sandwich and mushroom soup tasted

On this visit I ordered the avocado shrimp sandwich, mushroom soup, and Que Sera's signature drink.

First up, the avocado shrimp sandwich! I already love sandwiches with avocado, and here the combination of ingredients worked really well together. I ordered it because the person next to me was having it 🥰🥰❤️ The soft, nutty flavor of the avocado paired with the shrimp made it light yet quietly flavorful. The balance between the English muffin bread and the filling was great too, so I kept going back for more with every bite.

The mushroom soup I ordered alongside it was also really good. Having a soup with brunch somehow makes it feel like a proper meal, right? The nutty, smooth flavor of the mushrooms went well with the sandwich too.

Above all, this felt like a place where you can taste the chef's care in the food. It's not just a pretty brunch café — it felt like a place that puts real effort into the food itself.

Lastly, I had Que Sera's signature lychee drink, which paired well with everything I'd ordered and wrapped up the brunch spread on a happy note.

Overall, the food was delicious, the space was charming and pretty, and above all it was a comfortable place to eat — very satisfying.

The brunch and terrace vibe are so nice that I thought it would also make a great date spot! The weather on the day I visited was perfect too 🍓🍓 The chef's skills are top-notch 🤎💙👍
