Croffle and drinks at Tteum Café by Oneplay Suwon Station

A while back I was walking near Suwon Messe with a friend, and it was so hot that I was craving dessert like crazy. While looking for a café where we could relax properly, one spot caught my eye right away :) That's Tteum Café by Oneplay, a dessert café by Suwon Station. Both the drinks and the croffle were seriously high quality, so it turned into a proper healing day.

Inside Tteum Café: seating, lighting and the hand-drip bean lineup

Tteum Café by Oneplay Suwon Station has a fairly spacious layout overall, with generous gaps between seats. From special beans like Kopi Luwak and Geisha to their own Kyoto and Milano blends, you can enjoy them all as hand drip.

Being a Suwon Station dessert café, you could tell a lot of care went into every part of the interior :) Above all, quiet, comfortable music was playing, which was great for talking quietly with a friend. What I especially liked was that, unlike other places in Suwon, you could pick out special beans to drink.

I also got to see high-quality desserts like financiers, croffles, and cakes.

What we ordered at Tteum Café: Roma espresso, 95% peach black iced tea and chocolate ice cream croffle

What we ordered at Tteum Café by Oneplay that day were three things: Roma espresso, 95% peach black iced tea, and chocolate ice cream croffle. When everything arrived, the visuals were so full of atmosphere that I loved it right away!

Three ordered items on the table

How is the Roma espresso at Tteum Café?

First up, the signature espresso line, Roma espresso, comes out with an Italian-style stravaccato feel — a bitter yet deep aroma that hit heavily. The rich flavor of the beans spread through my mouth, mingling with the bitter powder on top in a way that turned out sweet.

The 95% peach black iced tea

And the 95% peach black iced tea we ordered together was genuinely shocking to try for the first time..!! It's nothing like the usual overly sweet packaged drinks you find in stores — it's made with a whopping 95% real yellow peach, white peach, and nectarine juice, so the fruit's fresh tartness stays completely alive. One sip through the straw and you get that clean, juicy sweetness — I felt like I'd met the best iced tea of my life at this Suwon Station dessert café ദ്ദി ˉ͈̀꒳ˉ͈́ )✧

The chocolate ice cream croffle

Last was the chocolate ice cream croffle I'd been looking forward to. It comes out freshly baked and warm, drizzled generously with rich chocolate syrup, topped with a really big, chewy scoop of vanilla ice cream.

I cut the crispy dough into pieces and ate it together with the sweet ice cream. A cute little knife came included as a bonus!

The warm bread's crispy-outside, soft-inside texture melted together with the chewy ice cream in my mouth. I understood the moment I took a bite why everyone comes here for croffles near Suwon Station. The chocolate syrup was deep and rich too, making it perfect paired with the bitter espresso.

Take a bite of dessert, then a sip of the tart peach iced tea — it goes beyond sweet-and-salty into a sweet-and-sweet combination.

Who is this Suwon Messe café best for?

Tteum Café by Oneplay Suwon Station is a good stop if you're looking for a relaxed, good-vibe space near Suwon Station or Suwon Messe, or if you want to enjoy really proper beans and desserts at the same time. Thanks to the wide seating and soft, moonlight-like lighting, I got to chat comfortably for the first time in a while.

I especially can't forget the crispy-outside, moist-inside taste of the Suwon Station croffle, so I think I'll be back soon. The pairing with the tart peach fruit iced tea was also really solid. If you want a special hand drip or an atmospheric dessert, I'd definitely recommend visiting once :)
