Today I visited Jeongssi Hambak Baegot Branch, known as a local favorite in Baegot~ It has close to 10,000 reviews with a 4.82 rating~ Keeping a rating that high with that many reviews really proves it's a good restaurant!

Three hamburg steaks ordered at Jeongssi Hambak Baegot Branch

At Jeongssi Hambak Baegot Branch I ordered three different ones to try a variety of flavors — Jeongssi Hambak, Garlic Cream Hambak, and Toowoomba Hambak~ The other menu items looked good too, but since hamburg steak is the main thing here, I went for the mains!

They honestly looked so much prettier than I expected — almost too pretty to eat, if that makes sense?

When all the food came out at once, the visuals were better than I expected (pretty food tastes better too haha). The hamburg steak had this savory juice coming out of it, and I thought, yep, this is really handmade. Eating the rice, egg, and hamburg steak together with the sauce was so delicious~

• You can help yourself to as much diced radish kimchi, pickles, and jalapeños as you want at the self-serve bar
• Tteokbokki (spicy rice cake) gets one free refill~ It tastes like old-school street cart tteokbokki, totally my type
• Rice refills too, so you can eat a really filling meal! (I refilled my rice and wiped up all the leftover sauce with it...)

The first thing I noticed walking into the restaurant was

the vibe is nicer and cleaner than I expected

We sat by the window, and the full glass window gave us a full view of downtown Baegot, which was so nice. It really felt like a great date spot! If you're dating in Baegot, Siheung, I'd recommend Jeongssi Hambak Baegot Branch.

Jeongssi Hambak menu and prices

The basic signature menu item, Jeongssi Hambak, is ₩11,500, which is really great value! Before going in I thought it would be pretty expensive, but seeing the price genuinely surprised me. And factoring in the taste too, it's number one for value.

There's garlic, Toowoomba, rosé, mozzarella cheese, and omurice hamburg steaks, so there's a good variety to choose from depending on your taste, which is a huge plus.

Jeongssi Hambak Baegot Branch is located at 26 Seoul National University-ro 278beon-gil, Siheung, Gyeonggi, 2nd floor. It's in the main commercial area of Baegot so it's easy to find, and it's a great spot for eating and then taking a walk around. Parking is free at the underground lot at Baegot Avenuefrance Orange Building.

Is Jeongssi Hambak Baegot Branch worth it for a date?

Hamburg steak as a dish is pretty universally liked, so I think anyone would enjoy this~ Being handmade makes it even tastier. The food comes out clean and well-presented and tastes good, so I think satisfaction would be high with anyone you visit with. The restaurant's atmosphere is especially comfortable and cozy, which made it nice for chatting leisurely over the meal.

It's a great fit for dates, of course, but also for family meals out or casual meals with friends. If you're looking for a restaurant in Baegot that covers both atmosphere and taste, I'd recommend giving it a try. The staff were friendly too, so I had a pleasant meal. It's a place I'd want to come back to next time I'm in Baegot! Most of all, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was great, so it was a satisfying meal. It would also be really good to come with family!
