In short
Manokamana Triple Street Branch 2 is an Indian curry restaurant in the basement of Triple Street mall in Songdo, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon. Two diners ordered Set B at 19,000 won per person and received six items — salad, chicken tikka, butter chicken curry, garlic naan, rice and plain lassi — paying 38,500 won in total including the garlic naan upgrade. Songdo restaurant, Triple Street restaurant, Songdo Indian curry, Songdo Triple Street restaurant.
Indian curry is a real love-it-or-hate-it food, so whenever I want it I end up cautiously asking a friend if they're okay with it. This time too, nervously, I asked my junior — 'um... do you... eat Indian curry...?' — and got the bold reply: 'I can't get enough of it.' Instant pass to friendship, basically.
A school junior of mine works in Incheon, and since I'm unemployed and have all the time in the world, I figured I'd take the train to Incheon like a little trip. Today's destination: Triple Street in Songdo!

How to get to Manokamana from Technopark Station

Manokamana sits in the basement of Triple Street. Get off at Technopark Station, walk past the Hyundai Department Store, and you can go the whole way underground — a real plus when the weather's bad. At first I was a bit thrown off by how stylish the exterior looked, not really like an Indian restaurant at all. The friend I was meeting there actually walked right past it without realizing it was the place, haha. Lesson learned: don't go looking for an Indian curry place that looks like an Indian curry place.
Inside Manokamana: atmosphere and group seating

The inside is roomier than I expected. The high-backed chairs were pretty comfortable, and the tables had plenty of space between them, so eating felt relaxed rather than cramped.

I noticed reserved-table signs here and there, and there was group seating too — this place looked like a solid option for a Songdo lunch gathering or company meal. While I was sitting there, a group came piling in — 'how many of you?' 'Ten.' That's when I knew for sure this place was legit. Getting ten coworkers' tastes to agree on a lunch spot is famously hard, so seeing a group that size walk in told me it's a popular pick for office group meals too.

There's a staircase up to a second floor, so seating capacity is actually pretty large. It felt like a place you could walk into mindlessly at lunchtime for curry without worrying about a wait. And in one corner there's a wooden swing, of all things — not sure if it's decor, a waiting spot, or just for fun, but it's cute. There are also high chairs for kids.

The classic Indian-curry-restaurant water cup made its appearance. Why do all curry places seem to use the exact same glasses? Is there some group-buy source? Or is there a dedicated 'Indian curry restaurant water cup' out there? At this point I'm convinced there's a national association standardizing curry restaurant glassware.

You can pull up the menu right away by scanning the NFC tag on the table. They also offer a 5% discount for leaving a receipt review — and 5% is nothing to sneeze at.
What is in Set B, and why it came to 38,500 won for two

The set menus show up right at the top. They run about ₩18,000 to ₩30,000 per person, so if you want to sample a bunch of dishes at once, a set menu is a pretty good call. Speaking as someone who's ordered one.

There are three curries to choose from within the set. Of those, the safest and most popular pick is, of course, the butter chicken curry.
That day we ordered Set B. It comes packed with six items in one set — salad, chicken tikka, curry, naan, rice, and lassi. Honestly, with that much included, you're better off just ordering the set instead of agonizing in front of the menu.

Besides the standard naan, you can pay extra to swap in a different kind — this time we added ₩500 for garlic naan. If you're bringing someone who's never had Indian curry before, I'd start them off with the butter chicken. If you're craving a vegetable curry, palak paneer is worth a shot, and if you want something spicier, chicken masala is a good call too.

For lassi, you can choose plain, mango, or strawberry.

Set B is ₩19,000 per person. Ordering for two plus the garlic naan upgrade, we paid ₩38,500 total.
Side-dish tray, salad, plain lassi and chicken tikka

First up: the classic Indian-restaurant side-dish plate. It comes with jalapeños, pickles, and either onions or kimchi. Why do Indian restaurant side dishes always come on this little three-tiered round plate? It's a bit cute every time I see it.

Since it's the salad that comes with the set, I honestly didn't expect much volume. But it arrived piled up like a tower in the bowl, and I was genuinely impressed by how generous the portion was. The dressing was tangy too, making it a great appetizer before the curry — this place clearly wants to show off with the salad first.

That day we went with the most basic option, original plain. It had that distinctive Indian yogurt-drink flavor, not too thin and not too thick — just the right consistency. Not overly sweet either, so it paired nicely alongside the curry. It's uncanny how well it suits the Korean palate. Whenever the spice creeps up while eating curry, a sip of lassi resets everything.

I tend to prefer chicken tikka over tandoori chicken, because there's no bones to deal with, which makes it way easier to eat. It arrives with a generous squeeze of lemon. There was a decent char-grilled aroma, and the meat wasn't dry at all — pretty tender.

Coming all the way to an Indian restaurant and not having meat would feel like a letdown, right? Dipping it in the sauce that comes on the side gives it a whole other flavor. The chicken tikka basically satisfies your meat craving before the curry even shows up.
How the butter chicken curry tasted with garlic naan and rice

And now, today's main event: the butter chicken curry. Whenever you're torn between naan and rice, just get the set that has both. Problem solved! This is exactly why you order the set.

Tear off a piece of the garlic naan and dunk it right into the curry. The garlic aroma was subtle, and it paired really well with the butter chicken curry. Of course, you'll need to get your dining companion's permission for this. It's a bit tidier if you spoon a little curry onto the torn naan with the shared spoon rather than dunking directly.

The curry has generously sized chunks of chicken in it too. It's tasty dipped with naan, but spooning the curry over rice hits that Korean-palate sweet spot even harder. As they say, a meal isn't really over for a Korean without rice. So satisfying, so filling.
Is Manokamana in Songdo worth a visit?
Verdict: if you're craving Indian curry in Songdo, this is a place you can walk into at Triple Street without overthinking it. If you have a friend who says they 'can't get enough' of Indian curry, bring them along — and even a friend who couldn't get enough before might end up eating even more here.
