What about the wait and atmosphere?
Jojo Triple Street Branch is popular enough to have a wait during peak hours. Tables cannot be reserved, but you can check your place in line through Catchtable. We visited for a late lunch and were seated right away.

The interior is spacious and well maintained overall. It has a vintage, cozy feel that makes it a nice place for a date.

The tables, mostly for two or four, are spread out generously, making for a comfortable meal. Every table has a grill; following an Osaka tradition, these specially made large grills cook at high heat so you can keep your food warm. Food can cool down and lose some of its appeal as you eat, but with a grill at every table, you can enjoy your meal deliciously from start to finish.

The open kitchen lets you see every dish being cooked as soon as it is ordered. Even the clean, pleasant kitchen inspires confidence.

What we ordered with the Rice Set for Two
Jojo offers a variety of Japanese teppanyaki dishes, including okonomiyaki (Japanese savory pancake), yakisoba (stir-fried noodles), monjayaki (runny Tokyo-style savory pancake), and rice dishes. There is a menu at every table, so it is easy to browse. You can order signature, monjayaki, and rice set menus for good value and variety, or choose individual dishes to suit your taste. Draft beer, highballs, and sake that pair well with Japanese teppanyaki are available too. Rice Set for Two ₩36,000 Jojo Okonomiyaki + yaki fried rice + mentaiko gyoza

We ordered the Rice Set for Two, which came with Jojo Okonomiyaki, yaki fried rice, and crisp mentaiko gyoza.

Jojo Okonomiyaki
They make a little flag with the nickname you write down when ordering and serve it with your food. This is Jojo's signature okonomiyaki, generously filled with cabbage, bouncy shrimp, beef, and pork. The crisp cabbage texture goes so well with the tender shrimp and the rich beef and pork.

I really loved being able to cook Jojo's signature, sauce-covered okonomiyaki on the grill in real time without letting it go cold.

Yaki fried rice full of smoky flavor
This yaki fried rice is packed with smoky flavor. It is loaded with assorted vegetables, chewy squid, and meat, then topped with a soft-fried egg.

Break that soft yolk! Stir-fried in a slightly sweet sauce, it is full of savory flavor, with crisp vegetables, chewy squid, and smoky meat all coming together beautifully.

Crispy mentaiko gyoza
These are mentaiko gyoza (dumplings filled with seasoned pollock roe) in a crisp fried coating. The definition of crisp outside, tender inside. The mentaiko filling pairs wonderfully with the mayo sauce served alongside.

The mentaiko gyoza are packed with filling, and their neat, crisp coating makes them just right as a beer snack.
