Jazz 257 is a great spot for birthdays and anniversaries

For my birthday, I was thinking of somewhere with a nice atmosphere, and my partner Pure had saved Jazz 257, a Songdo Central Park favorite, from Instagram. So I booked a reservation and went. Live jazz performances, a birthday event, delicious food, and wine — nothing was missing ::>_<::💖

Where is Jazz 257, and what about parking and hours?

Jazz 257 Songdo Central Park Branch is at Artfore Building D, Units 201-202, 257 Incheontawer-daero, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon. It opens at 16:00 and closes at 24:00, staying open until 01:00 on Fridays and Saturdays. Parking is available in the building's basement lot, free for up to 4 hours.

From beside the Holiday Inn Hotel, head straight toward Artwin Prugio, then turn right following the water taxi signs, and go up to the 2nd floor of Artfore Building D. Park in the basement (B1) for 4 hours free, or use the outdoor public lot for free parking entirely.

The atmosphere is so good {{{(>_<)}}} Seriously the perfect place for a birthday or anniversary. Through the windows you can see Central Park's night view and the lake. And the professional, friendly service from the international staff fit the international-city vibe perfectly, which made it even better.

What seat does a birthday reservation at Jazz 257 get you?

Jazz 257 takes birthday and anniversary reservations through Naver Reservations. Since we'd booked ahead through Naver, they gave us a table right at the very front. The front row was amazing for watching the live show, but the window seats overlooking the Central Park lake looked great too.

What time is the live jazz at Jazz 257?

Jazz 257's live performances run daily from 8 to 10pm, two hours total. It's split into two sets with a 20-minute break in between.

Getting to watch a live jazz performance up close like that made me so happy. I've never really been into jazz or live shows, but coming here changed that ＞﹏＜🤍

Apparently they also have a band performance on Fridays and Saturdays!

In that great atmosphere, we ordered a glass of wine too. They poured it generously, filling the glass nearly halfway.

I got a bit of the live performance on camera too. They mostly played more mainstream songs, which made it easier to enjoy comfortably. They were also good at getting the crowd to respond. Partway through, they mentioned a little anniversary story, so if you're visiting for a birthday or anniversary, I'd recommend leaving a note when you book.

I honestly figured the food would just be okay since this place is really about the performances, but the food quality was better than expected. Apparently the pizza in particular is hand-made by a foreign chef with their own dough.

How was the flaming stone steak at Jazz 257?

Jazz 257's Jazz Stone Steak is ₩49,000 and comes with a flame performance. I ordered this flaming stone steak.

There's a performance where they dramatically set it aflame, which fit perfectly for a special occasion.

It wasn't just good to look at — it tasted great too!

I cooked the steak and vegetables a bit more on the hot stone plate, and the meat was tender and delicious. Between the performance and the taste, I'd definitely recommend trying the steak :-)

Birthday event: leave a note in your Naver reservation

For people who noted a birthday or anniversary when booking at Jazz 257, they'll do an event like this. One of the international staff put a cowboy hat(?) on us, and there were flames, pop pop! Photos, pop pop!

We didn't mention anything specifically when booking, so we didn't get the event, but Pure personally gave me flowers, which made for a happy birthday anyway (*^_^*)🌸💗 Great atmosphere, jazz music drifting through the air, and a pretty night view — Jazz 257 is really a great Songdo spot.

One more glass of wine and the seafood tomato pasta

In the end, we ordered one more bottle of wine so we could stay through the whole second set.

We also ordered the seafood tomato pasta. Overall the food was solidly good across the board. The atmosphere is so nice that you end up staying a long time, which made me think it might be worth just ordering the Jazz Omakase course from the start next time.

From the live performances to the lake night view to the food, Jazz 257 in Songdo Central Park had it all. If you're looking for somewhere special for an anniversary, I'd recommend it.
