Inside Cozy Bear: seats and atmosphere

Cozy Bear has about 4 tables inside, plus seats on the outdoor terrace.

I liked that there was no hip-hop or idol music playing. It had a soft, relaxed background sound that felt really comfortable. The volume not being loud was the best part.

I ordered an americano, a strawberry latte, and salt bread. I wrote the review and got 1 free salt bread from the event too. Yay~

Glossy plain salt bread from Cozy Bear

The salt bread was glossy and shiny all over

The 'cave' inside wasn't that big

How does Cozy Bear's plain salt bread taste?

Close-up of the soft inside of the salt bread

It looked so shiny and delicious, but since the inside cave wasn't very big when I cut it, I ate it half doubtfully. But then—

Crisp outside, remarkably soft inside

Crispy outside, super soft and moist inside. Fluffy and tender, like biting into a cloud made of bread. Found a salt bread hotspot!! This place is really good at salt bread.

A bite taken out of the freshly baked salt bread

It was so good because it was fresh out of the oven. If you're visiting, go around 9 a.m. or 2 p.m. and enjoy the freshly baked, crispy-moist salt bread. Cozy Bear's salt bread seems noticeably softer and moister than other bakeries' salt bread. My mom tried it and said it was good — she's not someone who easily praises bread, so it must have really hit the spot for her.

Strawberry latte, 5,500 won

A strawberry latte loaded with strawberry syrup. Mix it well and it's cool, sweet, and delicious.

Iced americano, 3,800 won

Took a photo after one sip. The americano is cool and nutty. Goes perfectly with the salt bread haha

Terrace seats and the full-length window seats

On a fall day like this, sitting on the terrace with salt bread and a coffee is great. Full of plants, so the atmosphere is nice.

The floor-to-ceiling window is great

The weather is so nice. So relaxing.. is this some kind of special star or something

As someone who really loves a good window view, I loved that you can enjoy this kind of window even without it being a huge café.

So happy

It was such a nice dessert café to stop into for a bit while wandering around Songdo.

The owner was kind too, and they're running a free salt bread event for writing a review, so everyone should stop by at least once. I recommend Incheon Songdo café 'Cozy Bear' as a salt bread hotspot haha

Is Cozy Bear in Songdo worth a visit?

  • True to being a salt bread specialty café, the salt bread is really delicious. Crispy and moist.
  • The floor-to-ceiling windows keep the place from feeling stuffy.
  • No closed days.
  • The background music playing in the café was relaxing and nice.
