Wine bar near Songdo Central Park for anniversary dates: Jazz 257

In short

Jazz 257 Songdo Central Park Branch is a live jazz wine bar on the 2nd floor of Artfore Building D, right across from Songdo Central Park in Yeonsu, Incheon. At Jazz 257 I ordered stone steak with a tableside flame show, two glasses of house red wine and seafood tomato pasta while a live jazz band played. Jazz 257 is a good pick for an anniversary or birthday when you want a slightly special evening out.

Today I visited a jazz bar near Songdo Central Park. The weather's been so nice lately and I wanted to spend an evening somewhere with good atmosphere and good food, and it just so happened there was a live jazz performance too, so I checked it out. 🎷

This is Jazz 257 Songdo Central Park Branch! It's right in front of Central Park, so the location is great, and you can enjoy a live show while you eat. I had steak and pasta and watched the jazz performance, and the vibe was so much better than I expected that I wanted to write it up. 🫧 ˚˖𓍢ִ໋ ✧

The calm exterior sign of Jazz 257 Songdo Central Park Branch

Jazz 257 Songdo Central Park Branch sits on the 2nd floor of Artfore Building D. The sign isn't flashy at all — it has a calm feel, so I'd guess a lot of date-night visitors stumble on it naturally while strolling around Central Park. The building faces the lake directly, so arriving around sunset made even just the exterior feel atmospheric! I was already a little excited before even walking in, haha.

Which seats at Jazz 257 face the stage?

The seating at Jazz 257 Songdo Central Park Branch is arranged facing the jazz stage, so the live performance is visible no matter where you sit. I was given a front table right by the stage, close enough to see the musicians' expressions, so if you're coming for the show, it might be worth requesting a seat position when you reserve. Personally, I think the window seats would be perfect in weather like this! 🫧

Overall the lighting wasn't too dim, more of a warm feel, which was good for photos and comfortable for conversation. The tables were fairly spaced out too, so I could relax without worrying about the next table. It seemed like a good spot for both dates and group get-togethers :)

The two glasses of house wine came out full first!

The stone steak came out first! When you order steak at Jazz 257, they do a little fire show (?) at the table, and the flames shot up higher than I expected, so it startled me, haha. It's more fun to watch than just eating plain food, since there's a bit of a performance to it. 🔥

The steak is cooked to your liking on a hot stone, so you can keep eating it warm all the way through. Browned on the outside and juicy inside — it was delicious.

How does the seafood tomato pasta taste?

I also ordered the seafood tomato pasta :) It was packed with seafood in tomato sauce, so it looked delicious from the start. There was a generous amount of shrimp and other seafood, and the tomato sauce wasn't too heavy or intense, so it went well alongside the steak!

If you're visiting as a couple, I'd recommend ordering the steak and pasta together to share!

Plus, since the seating itself faces the stage, it was really nice to enjoy the show while eating!

And then the live jazz performance started! Once the music began, the whole place got a bit more calm and I naturally found myself focused on the music. It was great being able to relax and enjoy dinner while listening to live music! Watching the Central Park night view while listening to jazz, I almost felt like I was on a trip somewhere, haha. That evening, the food was great, but the live performance made the whole night feel even more special...

If you want to enjoy good food and live jazz together in Songdo, I think it's worth a visit at least once. Especially listening to music while looking out at the Central Park night view — it felt like a slightly more relaxed and special evening than usual! 🍷
