While looking for good restaurants near Hyundai Department Store in Pangyo, I ended up at Dwaeji Mansion, a well-known spot in Pangyo Avenue France.

I'd been feeling oddly low on energy lately and in a bit of a slump, and honestly nothing fixes that like meat haha. I was craving good pork, so I went straight there 🥩

Where is Dwaeji Mansion Pangyo Avenue France Branch, and where do you park?
Dwaeji Mansion is on the first floor of Pangyo Avenue France, and parking is available in the basement level of the building. Since the restaurant is on the first floor, it wasn't hard to find at all.

- Free parking at Pangyo Avenue France (3 hours)

Dwaeji Mansion turned out to already be a well-known Pangyo restaurant that plenty of influencers and celebrities had visited — impressive.
A Pangyo Korean BBQ restaurant with 3 hours of parking
For restaurants in a busy area like Pangyo, taste matters, but if you're driving, whether parking is available really matters too.

On that front, Dwaeji Mansion was great — no parking worries at all haha. Being able to use the building's basement lot was convenient, and the parking area itself was fairly spacious and comfortable, which I liked.

Parking at Pangyo Avenue France costs ₩6,000 per hour, but the restaurant generously covers 3 hours, so we could eat and move around afterward without rushing haha.
Inside Dwaeji Mansion: the room and the well-thought-out seating
Dwaeji Mansion Pangyo Avenue France Branch has plenty of tables and a spacious interior, making it a great spot for group dinners or gatherings. Even though we arrived right at the noon opening, another table of guys was already there catching up with friends haha.
One thoughtful touch at Dwaeji Mansion ✔️ I thought the chairs were just regular chairs with backrests, but there's actually storage space under the seat, perfect for stashing a bag or jacket haha.
There were also dedicated holders on the table for the tongs and scissors. When you're eating meat, tongs and scissors usually end up scattered all over the table, but having a designated spot for them kept things much tidier and made grilling easier 👍🏻
What two of us ordered for lunch

My husband and I ordered one serving each of pork belly and thick-cut Iberico pork neck.

We ordered two servings, but the cuts were so thick and generous that it honestly felt like three servings' worth..👍🏻 Can you see that gorgeous marbling on the Iberico pork neck? ✨
How do you eat the pork belly at Dwaeji Mansion?
At Dwaeji Mansion, they grill mushrooms, garlic, and minari (water dropwort) alongside the meat 🌿🧄🍄, then arrange the cooked meat and vegetables neatly on a plate. Just looking at how tidily it's plated, I could tell the owner had a real eye for detail haha.

They grill the meat and vegetables with real thought given to timing and order of eating — honestly I was quietly amazed haha. They also shared tips on how to eat each piece for the best flavor.

For the first bite, the staff recommended pairing it with herring roe and minari to really taste the pork's flavor. I worried the herring roe might be fishy, but it wasn't at all — the pop of the roe combined with the fresh, fragrant taste of minari worked really well together.
The second suggestion was pork belly topped with grilled minari, dipped in fish sauce. A slice of pork belly with fragrant grilled minari on top, dipped lightly in fish sauce, gave a savory, juicy bite with the fresh minari and umami fish sauce — a completely different flavor experience.

The third way: wrapping pork belly in scallion haha. Again, the owner personally wrapped a piece of pork belly in scallion and placed it right on my plate haha. I didn't even have to wrap it myself — having each combination made for me felt like being served an omakase-style meat course haha.
Thick-cut Iberico pork neck, rested by the staff

Have any of you ever seen a BBQ restaurant that actually rests the meat?? The pork neck cut is so thick that cooking it evenly at home would be tricky, but at Dwaeji Mansion in Pangyo, staff grill it themselves and then carefully rest it haha. (Now I understand why it's so popular.) Thanks to that, we didn't have to worry about grilling timing at all — we just sat back and enjoyed 🥰

Apparently at Dwaeji Mansion, they rest the thick cuts so the juices spread evenly through the meat instead of pooling in one spot. Having that resting process handled for us, specifically to lock in the juices of the thick pork neck, definitely felt different from a typical BBQ restaurant haha.

For the Iberico pork neck too, they recommended a few perfect pairings 🥩. Wasabi and ginger were clean and delicious, but my personal favorite was topping it with julienned scallion and chewy mushrooms. The juicy, savory meat combined with the sharp, fresh scallion and chewy mushroom texture just melted in my mouth… 🥹
If you visit Dwaeji Mansion in Pangyo, you absolutely have to try the Iberico thick-cut pork neck!!!!
Finishing the meal with kimchi jjigae
A BBQ restaurant needs kimchi jjigae (kimchi stew), right? 😀

The kimchi jjigae we ordered as a side exceeded expectations! It was packed with meat, looking hearty just from the sight of it haha. The spicy, rich broth loaded with meat was perfect for pairing with a final spoonful of rice after all that meat 🍚
Would we go back? Final verdict on Dwaeji Mansion in Pangyo
We found Dwaeji Mansion while searching for good food near Hyundai Department Store Pangyo! From the thick, fresh cuts to the staff grilling and even resting the meat for us, plus guidance on the best flavor combinations for each cut, it genuinely felt like enjoying a meat omakase haha.

The Iberico thick-cut pork neck especially was juicy yet tender, and my personal favorite was pairing it with julienned scallion and chewy mushrooms 🥹. If you're craving pork belly in Pangyo, or looking for a Pangyo restaurant with easy parking, Dwaeji Mansion is worth a visit 🥰 It's a place that will satisfy you on the days you really want to eat well.
