Jeju City café with a public parking lot out front: Gluttony Coffee
In short
Gluttony Coffee is a local café tucked into a Gudam-ro 2-gil alley in Ido 2-dong, Jeju City, with a public parking lot right in front. It is the café this family returned to most often on their Jeju trip, and this visit they ordered an Americano, a latte, fig cake, watermelon tangmomban (Korean-style watermelon punch) for their daughter, and the newly added levain cookie. For a relaxed, hip coffee break instead of a big oceanview café, Gluttony Coffee is the answer.

Gluttony Coffee, a hidden Jeju City café that only locals seem to know about. It's the café our family has come to most in Jeju City. Since it's a trip, we try to visit new places as much as possible... but there must be a reason we keep coming back here haha.
Unlike other tourist-area cafés, it's not a giant oceanview café but a place tucked into an alley in Ido 2-dong, Jeju City. Even so, it's always packed with people whenever we come — a hidden Jeju café most tourists don't know about!
Where is Gluttony Coffee, and where do you park? 10 minutes from Jeju Airport

Gluttony Coffee is about 10 minutes from Jeju Airport, located in the heart of downtown Jeju City. Jeju City has surprisingly more traffic than you'd expect, so parking can often be harder than it sounds... but Gluttony Coffee is fairly parking-friendly~ There's a public parking lot right in front, and if that doesn't work, you can quietly slip in along the street... using your best judgment haha.
Inside Gluttony Coffee: monochrome exterior, stylish interior

If it's your first time coming to Gluttony Coffee, you might be a little thrown off... the building barely looks like a café at a glance haha. The exterior is modern and monochrome, giving off that feel of a regulars-only spot that only insiders know about haha.

Compared to the plain exterior, the interior is quite unique and pretty.

Still packed with people haha.

There are little accent decor pieces scattered around, which make the café's vibe feel much more stylish.
There used to be fewer tables than this... but as word got out, more and more people started coming~ so it seems like the tables have gotten a bit more spread out.

There are photo spots everywhere here and there haha.
Gluttony Coffee menu: espresso, non-coffee drinks and cakes

As a café selected for the Blue Ribbon Survey two years in a row, whatever you order at Gluttony Coffee is delicious. We've tried a bunch of different things... and it was always above average~

A solid lineup from espresso to non-coffee drinks~! The espresso gets good reactions... but it's not really our thing as a couple haha. The latte is also a signature menu item, so if you like lattes, it's worth trying at least once. And the cakes here have this subtle sweetness that's really tasty. The slice cakes are recommended too~! The seasonal menu items are pretty good as well.

Something that changed since our last visit — the dessert menu shifted a bit. We tried the newly added levain cookie~

If Gluttony Coffee were near our house, I think I'd come buy whole cakes a few times haha.

Even the takeout cups are hip haha.
How do the Americano, latte, fig cake and watermelon tangmomban taste?

What we ordered at Gluttony Coffee: an Americano and a latte, fig cake, and a watermelon tangmomban (watermelon-flavored bingsu-style drink) for our daughter. The first thing that hits you is how pretty everything looks. From the coffee cup to the spoon to the color of the drinks, everything comes together so harmoniously it looks like a painting.

Wait for it, daughter haha.
The weather's so nice~ there's this floor-to-ceiling window feel haha.
Seems like it's fig season right now.

Handing our daughter her cake, but... when did she finish the cookie already haha. As excellent as ever~!

The spoon is really unique~ it fits right onto the coffee cup!

The watermelon tangmomban and cake for our daughter~

Selected two years in a row for the Blue Ribbon Survey, so there's no doubting the taste~ No further explanation needed!
Is Gluttony Coffee worth a stop in Jeju City?

Unlike the big tourist-area cafés by the sea, if you want to enjoy the perfect coffee break in a relaxed, hip atmosphere, I'd definitely recommend visiting Gluttony Coffee at least once!
