I heard Flowerpot Cafe, the popular café near Mulwang Reservoir, opened a branch in Gojan-dong too, so I went to check it out! It's located next to AW Wedding Hall in Gojan-dong, near Lotte Cinema Gojan.
I'm a huge bread lover, and I heard Flowerpot Cafe's bread was really good, so I was excited haha.

How do the bingsu and sandwich discounts work?
Flowerpot Cafe in Ansan is known for its bingsu (shaved ice dessert), and it's currently running a discount for orders of bingsu plus americano. They have red bean bingsu, injeolmi (rice cake) bingsu, and mango bingsu, and they all looked so delicious. Gotta eat them quick before summer ends haha.
They're also running a discount when you order sandwiches, which make a great light meal, together with a drink. The chicken breast sandwich looked good too — light enough to eat even after working out!

Flowerpot Cafe in Ansan has a wide range of drink menus, from coffee to non-coffee options, fresh fruit tea, ade, smoothies, and fruit tea! Also, if you write a Naver review, you get a pretzel meringue cookie, so keep that in mind haha.

Bread lineup at Flowerpot Cafe: walnut bread is the signature
The breads at Flowerpot Cafe in Ansan! There was such a wide variety. Among them, the signature walnut bread stood out — it seemed like something moms would love. The mont blanc and croissants also looked delicious, and they seem to be genuinely popular items.

I was so happy to find white roll bread here too, which is hard to find in Ansan haha. Every time it became a trend in other neighborhoods, I wanted to try it.

Cakes, and what time the fresh bread comes out
The dessert menu at Flowerpot Cafe in Ansan — cheesecake, chocolate cake, lemon cake! The cakes looked so delicious. The lemon cake in particular isn't common, so it made me extra curious haha.
The mango wakppu salt bread was also so intriguing. I visited around 11:30am, and the bread had just come out, still warm haha. Freshly baked bread is just the best.

Seating and power outlets in this large Gojan-dong café
Flowerpot Cafe in Ansan has spacious seating, making it a great place to chat! There are outlets scattered around too, so charging your phone is easy.
The café is seriously huge haha. I think this counts as one of the large cafés in Gojan-dong.

Flowerpot Cafe in Ansan has tableware set up right next to the bread, so you can just grab it yourself. There are plates, small plates, a knife, fork, and scissors!
There's also a self-packing station and a microwave. Great for taking home any leftover bread!

Tasting the four breads I picked at Flowerpot Cafe
The breads I picked ~!
- Walnut bread
- Chestnut campagne
- Garlic baguette
- Basil tomato campagne

Maron campagne (chestnut country loaf)
Flowerpot Cafe's maron campagne. This bread has chestnut, red bean paste, and walnuts inside, and wow, it's seriously delicious. Perfect flavor for anyone who loves root vegetable-style desserts! Packed with chestnut, it was a dense, hearty bread! So good. My mom would love this one too haha.

Garlic baguette
Garlic baguette bread is oddly hard to find these days, but Flowerpot Cafe has it! A baguette packed full of garlic, so good haha.
Basil tomato campagne
This bread has basil, tomato, olive, and cheese in it, and it's delicious! Maybe because of the basil, it tastes really upscale haha.
Signature walnut bread
Flowerpot Cafe's signature walnut bread! It comes sliced thin, so it's easy to tear off pieces to eat. It's packed with walnuts and has that healthy bread taste. A great bread to have as a healthy breakfast haha.
A bakery café in Ansan that's easy to visit with your mom
Flowerpot Cafe in Ansan has an indoor restroom too, which was so convenient. I hardly ever go to cafés where you have to use the shared building restroom! With good accessibility, a great space, and delicious bread, Flowerpot Cafe in Ansan is a bakery café that's hard to dislike — a nice atmosphere to visit with your mom.
