After a first round of drinks in Nampo-dong, we wanted a second-round spot where we could sing and still get good basic snacks, so we ended up at Juju Norae Town 😁

Where is Juju Norae Town? 4th floor, 260m from Jagalchi Station Exit 3

This place is on the 4th floor of the Busan Jokbal building, about 260m from Jagalchi Station Exit 3 toward the jokbal (pig's trotters) alley.

It's close to the main street, the interior is clean and well put together, and we'd heard the sound quality was good, so we decided to check it out haha.

The first thing you see when you walk in is the counter and the freezer in front of it.

One free ice cream per person — I was already in a good mood the second I walked in 🤩

The inside is decorated with colorful lighting and has a clean, modern feel that isn't sleazy at all, which I liked.

Even the bathroom was bright, clean and spacious, with all sorts of toiletries laid out in front of it — the attention to detail was next level 👍

Inside the room: sofas and tablet ordering instead of phone calls

This is the room we were given — pretty spacious, right?

Spacious room with a long table
Sofa seating in the room with basic snacks laid out

With just the basic snacks laid out, they didn't even fill half the table — the table was that big. Sofas at places like this are sometimes grubby, but here they were completely clean, not dirty at all.

On one wall there was a notice board and a table order screen, and the fact that you don't have to order by phone was the best part (I have phone call anxiety 🤣🤣🤣).

What comes with the basic snack spread, and what can be refilled

Full spread of Juju Norae Town's basic snacks

This is the basic setup at Juju Norae Town, a bar in Nampo-dong. You get tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes), fried dried filefish, fish-shaped crackers, patbingsu (shaved ice dessert), chicken pop and a fried egg — with 'Juju' cutely written on top of the fried egg haha. By the way, everything can be refilled except the egg and the ramyeon 😋

Yeolramyeon and raw egg included as a basic snack

And of course, ramyeon (instant noodles) can't be missing — they give you Yeolramyeon along with a raw egg, nice touch ❤

The number of main snacks you need to order also depends on your group size.

  • 1–4 people: 1 main menu item
  • 5+ people: 2 main menu items
  • 8+ people: 3 main menu items
  • 11+ people: 4 main menu items

We only ordered one main snack: the seasonal fruit.

Seasonal fruit platter: the main snack worth ordering

While we were happily singing away, the fruit arrived haha.

Since it's seasonal fruit, the lineup changes with the season — for us it was watermelon, melon, banana, peach, apple, kiwi and shine muscat grapes.

The fruit portion was really generous.

Honestly, you'd assume the fruit at a place like this wouldn't taste great, but I was genuinely surprised here.

Close-up of the generous seasonal fruit portion

All the fruit was sweet and delicious. Melon isn't easy to get sweet, but this one wasn't watery at all — it was properly sweet, and the peach, while firm, was sweet and tangy.

Friends toasting at the room table

We toasted a few times, and honestly the chicken pop here was surprisingly tasty haha — I kept going back for it.

Eating and singing this happily with friends, of course we started craving ramyeon again — so we poured in water, let it bubble away, and enjoyed a tasty bowl.

Mic and speaker quality at Juju Norae Town: a 100-point score

The mic and speakers here were genuinely great — kind of made me feel like an actual singer.

Maybe that's why we scored 100 points and sang with our friends until our voices went hoarse, having a great time 😄

Is Juju Norae Town worth it for a second round in Nampo-dong?

So that was our visit to Juju Norae Town, a bar in Nampo-dong. Unlike other karaoke bars, the interior is super modern and clean, which I loved right away. The room was spacious, the basic snacks were varied, and the sound was great, so we lost track of time having fun. If you want to sing your heart out with friends in Nampo-dong while enjoying good snacks, I'd recommend this place 😘
