Nampo-dong karaoke bar, weekend 2-hour room fee: Juju Norae Town

In my opinion, this is hands down the number one karaoke bar in Nampo-dong.

Juju Norae Town is on the 4th floor of a building at 13-1 Gwangbok-ro, Jung-gu, Busan. On a Saturday night, wanting a Nampo-dong date with my cousin, I looked for a Nampo-dong bar to have some fun at and ended up at Juju Norae Town.

It's on Gwangbok-ro so it wasn't hard to find — just head up to the 4th floor of the Busan Jokbal building in the pork trotter alley.

A lot of the karaoke bars around here are pretty old, so I was a little nervous about what the facilities would be like. But once we walked in, the entrance and hallway were both spotless — great for anyone looking for a stylish Nampo-dong bar.

What is the karaoke room at Juju Norae Town like?

The room at Juju Norae Town was spacious enough for several people to sit comfortably, and the sofa and table were clean. Zero stickiness, and no cigarette smell or that musty basement odor — I really appreciated that.

Perfect for anyone looking for a clean Nampo-dong bar or Nampo-dong karaoke room.

There was a TJ machine and two wireless microphones ready to go, and of course a tambourine — can't skip that. Singing while shaking the tambourine really got the energy going.

Ordering drinks and calling staff from the in-room tablet

At Juju Norae Town you could take your time browsing the menu on the in-room tablet and order right away. No need to stop singing and go outside to call a staff member — really convenient. There was a printed guide above the kiosk explaining how to order, worth checking out!

We'd already eaten a full first round elsewhere, so we ordered seasonal fruit for ₩31,000, a Terra for ₩6,000, and a Chamisul for ₩6,000. With the ₩25,000 weekend room fee, our total came to ₩68,000!

And staff calls can also be done entirely through the kiosk!!! You can select spoons, small plates, wet wipes, glasses, even water and ice, all on the screen. You could even request the AC or heating with one button — pretty thoughtful. We needed a couple of small plates to portion out the ramyeon, so we called for two, and they came at lightning speed! Haha.

Bathroom amenities and the neon sign photo spot

At the entrance of the women's restroom at Juju Norae Town, there were amenities like a mirror and cotton swabs. These small touches were surprisingly welcome. Hand lotion for after washing up, and even disposable floss for freshening your mouth!!!! Such thoughtful little details, one after another!

Across from the mirror there was also a neon sign that said 'You look pretty good!' At first I misread it as something else and wondered what it meant, lol, but I think it's basically that! Haha. Taking a photo under the neon sign really does make you look great!

At the counter there were phone chargers, lighters, and candy, plus ice cream on hand too. It was nice that everything you might need was gathered in one spot.

Free snack platter, including a pack of Yeol Ramyeon

The basic snacks at Juju Norae Town were more generous than I expected right from the start. Tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes), fish cake fritters, mini bungeoppang (fish-shaped pastry), patbingsu (shaved ice dessert), a fried egg, and nuggets filled up the table in no time. We were nearly full before the main order even arrived!

One pack of ramyeon comes included as standard, and I was glad it wasn't some no-name brand — it was Yeul Ramyeon with an egg thrown in too.

Once it started bubbling away, the smell of ramyeon started competing with the singing for our attention. That spicy Yeul Ramyeon broth was the perfect drinking snack.

Seasonal fruit plate for 31,000 won

The seasonal fruit came out as a plate piled high with all kinds of fruit! It was fresh, none of that old-fruit feeling, and the watermelon, melon, and green grapes were the best of the bunch.

We clinked glasses of soju and somaek (soju-beer mix) and really got the party started. Between singing and snacking, 2 hours flew by in no time!

Saturday night wait and final verdict on Juju Norae Town

Since it was Saturday night, there were a lot of customers, and even when we left after our 2 hours, plenty of people were still waiting. The staff were kind from start to finish, and the facilities were so clean — I get why this place is popular.

If you're looking to enjoy singing and drinking in one place among Nampo-dong bars, Juju Norae Town is a great choice. Weekdays have unlimited time, making it a good budget-friendly Nampo-dong bar too, and if you're looking for a Nampo-dong bar or Nampo-dong karaoke room, this is a place I'd want to go back to.

Final verdict — Juju Norae Town: clean facilities, generous basic snacks, and convenient tablet ordering!!!! Weekdays have unlimited time, making it good for anyone looking for a budget-friendly Nampo-dong bar. If you're looking for a Nampo-dong bar to enjoy singing and drinking together, this is a Nampo-dong karaoke bar I'd want to revisit.
