Yeongdeungpo omakase with CatchTable booking and parking: Sushi Hibi
In short
Sushi Hibi is a reservation-only sushi omakase restaurant on Dangsan-ro 32-gil near Yeongdeungpo-gu Office Station in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul. Booked through the CatchTable app for a weekday lunch, the Sushi Hibi course ran through seasonal ingredients brought straight from the dawn market, aged sashimi and a closing strawberry sorbet. Driving meant skipping drinks, but Sushi Hibi is great-value omakase worth returning to for anniversaries or treating guests.

I went to Sushi Hibi to try a special-occasion Yeongdeungpo omakase built around fresh, seasonal ingredients.

How to book Sushi Hibi on CatchTable and why to arrive 5 minutes early
Sushi Hibi runs on a reservation system, and I booked through the CatchTable app. The restaurant cares a lot about punctuality, so please arrive 5 minutes before your reservation time.

Weekday lunch is split into two seatings — 12:00–13:00 and 13:20–14:20 — and weekday dinner into 18:00–19:45 and 20:00–21:45. (Weekend hours differ, so check the photo above.)

What is the counter seating at Sushi Hibi like?
Once seated, you'll find the counter set up around the chef's station. From the very first glance, the interior felt clean, sleek, and neat.

Where to park near Sushi Hibi in Yeongdeungpo
If you're driving, note that parking near the restaurant itself is difficult — use the nearby Dangsan outdoor public parking lot instead.

Sushi Hibi lunch and dinner prices, drinks and corkage
Pricing differs between lunch and dinner since the operating times differ — but in exchange, dinner brings more food.

If you'd like a simple drink, you can order off the menu, or you can bring your own bottle since paid corkage is available.

A Sushi Hibi course built from dawn-market ingredients
The chef said he personally goes to the dawn market to bring back fresh ingredients. Maybe that's why every dish felt fresh and clean at its core.

Each dish seemed designed to highlight the aroma and texture of its ingredient, which made the meal a pleasure for both the eyes and the palate.

Sushi Hibi is known around Yeongdeungpo as great-value omakase with generous portions too, and everyone raves about it — so I went in with high expectations.

With every dish, the chef explained its name and how to eat it. That let me focus fully on the food itself, which was satisfying.

Apparently the restaurant used to be elsewhere before moving to this neighborhood. I'm glad this kind of upscale, great-value spot is now nearby — I'll definitely be back for anniversaries.

Is Sushi Hibi good for dates and treating guests?
The chef mentioned that many guests come not just for dates but for treating others in style. Visit once and you'll understand why.

Every dish felt made with care, and the pacing gave enough time to savor each one, which let me focus even more on the meal.

You could really feel the owner's love and pride for the food and craft, which made this a restaurant I trusted.

On top of that, the sashimi is aged before serving, and you could feel the passion of someone who thinks about food all day and pours that into giving guests the best possible dish.

What was disappointing at Sushi Hibi
The one downside was driving, which meant I couldn't pair the meal with alcohol — next time I'll definitely enjoy it with drinks. Since the seasonal ingredients change, I'd love to visit again in late fall or winter!

Sushi Hibi in one line
Sushi Hibi is best defined as a great-value, high-quality omakase restaurant. The course was so full and varied that it showed me flavors I didn't know were possible.

If you're looking for a fresh, new-feeling spot for a date, a gathering, or a mood reset near Yeouido or Yangpyeong stations — or just an omakase restaurant — give this one a try.

It was a delicious meal today, but it also felt like something that cared about my health, and it genuinely lifted my mood. This is what omakase should feel like.

Next time I'll book the dinner seating so I can take my time and enjoy the food more leisurely.

Finishing the Sushi Hibi course with strawberry sorbet
The strawberry sorbet served at the end had no artificial sweetness, which made it taste even better and cleaner. You could tell a lot of research went into it.
