Cheonan brunch café with spicy bulgogi rosé pasta: Pino Cafe Cheonan

In short

Pino Cafe Cheonan is a brunch café with a 3,000-pyeong garden near Taehaksan Recreational Forest in Pungse-myeon, Cheonan. Visiting with my dad, we shared a half-and-half pizza (shrimp & potato) and spicy bulgogi rosé pasta, then walked a loop of the garden while the golden cosmos were in full bloom. A meal, coffee and a walk in one stop make Pino Cafe Cheonan an easy outing with parents.

A Cheonan brunch café pasta spot in Pungse, great for a garden walk too — Pino Cafe

When picking a café, a pretty spot is great, but if the food is good too, you end up going back more often, right?

The scene on the day I visited Pino Cafe Cheonan

So this time I went with my dad to Pino Cafe in Pungse. The weather was so nice that day that we had a meal and also took our time strolling through the garden.

I've had it delivered before and visited in person too — let me introduce you to Pino Cafe, the kind of place that makes you want to come back.

Where is Pino Cafe Cheonan?

Pino Cafe Cheonan sits right next to the Pungse industrial complex, near Taehaksan Recreational Forest, so it feels quite different from the cafés in downtown Cheonan. Nature stretches out all around it, so it's easy on the eyes and gives off a relaxed vibe haha.

Pino Cafe also has Western-style dishes like pasta and pizza, so it's not just a spot for a quick coffee — it's a good place to visit for an actual meal too.

After some deliberation with my dad, we ordered the half-and-half pizza (shrimp & potato) and the spicy bulgogi rosé pasta.

Besides the brunch menu, there's a showcase that catches your eye — desserts and baked goods made fresh that day. A meal, then coffee, then a garden walk — it made for a perfect outing.

How does the spicy bulgogi rosé pasta taste?

A full brunch spread set out on the table at Pino Cafe

One reason I keep coming back to Pino Cafe is that the food is genuinely good! They prepare their brunch menu with fresh, seasonal ingredients, so the dishes feel substantial, and they don't skimp — everything comes generously loaded, which is a hallmark of Pino Cafe.

This was my first time trying the spicy bulgogi rosé pasta, and honestly, it wasn't really spicy at all — easy for anyone to enjoy.

Rosé pasta noodles well soaked in sauce with bulgogi

I like pasta where the sauce really soaks into the noodles, and here the sauce came generously, the noodles were cooked perfectly, and the seasoning was spot on too. Especially with all the bulgogi packed in, the combo of the smooth rosé sauce and salty-savory bulgogi was totally my type!

Half-and-half pizza with shrimp and potato

Half-and-half pizza (shrimp & potato)

The half-and-half pizza had two sides — one piled with french fries as the potato side, and the other topped with shrimp, arugula, and cherry tomatoes as the shrimp side.

The cheese stretched out beautifully, and eating it while it was still hot made it even better! The sauce was tasty too. And of course, the shrimp were piled on generously as well.

The 3,000-pyeong garden and September golden cosmos

When you think of Pino Cafe, the huge garden is probably the first thing that comes to mind..! It's said to span roughly 3,000 pyeong. Honestly, if you visit and just eat and leave, you'd be missing out — you really have to walk a loop of the garden.

The garden is themed around year-round blooms, so you get a different scene depending on the season. On September 18th, when I visited, the golden cosmos were an absolutely stunning sight.

There's also a nicely decorated photo zone, so if you enjoy taking flower photos or love leaving photos with a pretty backdrop, I'd recommend walking through the garden too.

Taehaksan-view walking path and the new camp-picnic zone

The walking path is also well laid out, so you can take in nature while looking out at a view of Taehaksan that just clears your mind — that's Pino Cafe's biggest charm point.

It's a great spot whether you're looking for a casual outing with your parents or a different kind of date with a partner.

Visiting Pino Cafe again after a while, I noticed new facilities I hadn't seen before.

The newly added camp-picnic facility

It's a facility for enjoying camp-picnics, and it's available via Naver reservation or on the spot, which felt perfect for enjoying something private and comfortable.

A meal, a garden walk and coffee in one stop

This time again, I had a meal and toured the garden. Between the garden full of golden cosmos, the natural scenery of Taehaksan, and the tasty brunch, I was, once again, satisfied. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a brunch spot in Cheonan with a pretty garden or a great place for photos.
