What kind of café is Orange Bagel in Suwon?

Orange Bagel is a large bakery café at 129 Omokcheon-ro, Gwonseon-gu, Suwon, Gyeonggi, open daily from 07:30 to 21:00 with its own parking lot. Today's post is a review from Orange Bagel, a bagel spot I visited as part of my Suwon bakery-hopping course. Orange Bagel is a pretty famous Suwon brunch café that's known even to people near Seoul, and it's quite spacious. Being a big Suwon café, the parking area is also huge, so I didn't have to worry even visiting on a weekend 😊

The vintage exterior and the hip, cozy interior make it feel almost like an American bakery 👀✨ We ate in the store to enjoy brunch, and the space had such a relaxed vibe it was great for taking our time.

A glossy, delicious-looking bagel lineup ✨ Orange Bagel has all kinds of bagels, bagel sandwiches, and even plenty of spreadable cream cheese flavors. If you're like me and just love browsing bread, the happiness starts the moment you pick up a tray and walk the display case, hahaha q(≧▽≦q)

They looked so plump and packed with fillings that I wanted to try them all, which meant choosing took forever!!!!

A Suwon restaurant where you can even have a full meal — a real Suwon brunch café! Not just the bagels, but the cream cheese selection is also really varied. The hearty sandwich bagels looked substantial enough to sub in for a proper meal too,,🤤

🥯 The combo of blueberry bagel + blueberry cream cheese. Orange Bagel's bread has none of that dry or hard texture regular bagels can have — it smells great and the inside is chewy and moist. The bagel itself is so tasty you can enjoy it plain, or split it in half and spread on cream cheese or jam to make it your own style. I bought the blueberry cream cheese to spread on, and it was totally my taste 💜

Double cream bagel and scallion cream bacon bagel

🥯 Double cream bagel. A great pairing with a cup of Americano — the harmony between the bagel's texture and the filling was really excellent ☺️

🥯 Scallion cream bacon bagel. I ordered this because it reminded me of a scallion cream I'd bought somewhere before. The outside is packed densely with scallions, and the rich cream cheese blends beautifully with the scallion flavor — the kind of taste that keeps you reaching for more, haha.

Why the Laugen butter bagel came first

🥯 Laugen butter bagel. The Laugen butter bagel was simply beyond expectations.. it's really that good. Salt is studded all over the surface of the bagel, and with the butter added too, that salty-savory combo earns it my number one spot.

After trying all four menu items, I could see why this place is famous as a Suwon bagel spot. A combo that makes both your eyes and mouth happy 🧡🤎

What to order on a return visit to Orange Bagel

Orange Bagel is a must-visit stop on any Suwon bakery-hopping course, great to enjoy with a cup of Americano. Next time I visit, I'm planning to sweep up all the bagels I haven't tried yet '◡' ✨ If you're looking for a Suwon brunch café, a big Suwon café, or great coffee in Suwon 🧡 I recommend Orange Bagel, a Suwon café 🧡
