Hi, this is Dani :) This time I had errands in Gojan-dong and ended up stopping by a café I stumbled onto! The place I visited was Flowerpot, a Gojan-dong dessert spot. As always, I walked in for bread and ended up with a solo haul of 4 🤭 plus a coffee — here's the review!

Where is Flowerpot Cafe in Gojan-dong, and where do you park?

Flowerpot Cafe is located behind the LG Electronics Best Shop and AW Convention in Gojan-dong! There's no on-site parking, but there are plenty of public parking lots nearby, so it's still easy to visit by car haha

They also have set menus, which are better value than ordering single items, and bingsu (shaved ice dessert) for a cool treat in summer, so it's perfect for a hot day visit haha. Not many days of bingsu season left, so gotta eat it up while I can 🍧

Inside Flowerpot Cafe: a botanical-garden feel

Once you step inside, a much bigger space opens up! Green plants are placed here and there, giving it the feel of a small botanical garden 🌿

The café itself is spacious, and the tables are spread out generously, so you can relax without worrying about the next table.

It's right next to AW Convention in Gojan-dong, so a lot of wedding guests were stopping by too!

The restroom is inside the café as well, so no need to go far to use it :)

What breads does Flowerpot Cafe bake?

Now let's get into the bread browsing 🥐🥖

Pick the bread you want onto a tray, pay, grab your own tongs, and head to your seat — that's it!

Flowerpot's signature walnut bread 🍞 It's packed with walnuts for a nutty flavor with a chewy texture and mild taste, apparently. If you love walnut bread, this one's worth checking out haha

From croissants, mont blanc, and salt bread to walnut cream cheese bread, the variety was huge~ Walnut cream cheese was totally my style 🤎 nutty walnuts with cream cheese — couldn't just walk past that, so I grabbed it right away haha

How big is the 2,900-won salt bread?

It's huge too. One alone would fill you up :-)

A salt bread this big for ₩2,900!! Insane value... the biggest salt bread I've ever seen 👀 The texture looked slightly moist and soft, so it seemed like it'd eat clean and simple 🥐

I love sweet potato and I love campagne, so a sweet potato campagne? Can't skip that either 🍠

So many types of croissants too 🥐 from the plain ones to several variations — fun just to look at each one.

Long sausage bread, fig campagne, and garlic baguette too!

Campagne made with in-season figs, and a baguette slathered with garlic sauce! My grandmother loves garlic baguette so I grabbed one of these too 😚

Sandwiches and the dessert showcase

Inside the refrigerated showcase were hearty sandwiches and a variety of desserts, all well stocked 🥪🍰 Besides bread, there were simple meal options too, so it'd be a good stop for grabbing a proper meal!

The bread is thin but the filling is completely generous — total perfection. When you bite in, it feels packed full, and just looking at it seemed filling haha

There's even the trendy Wakppu mango salt bread 🥐🥭 and the price was reasonable for a Wakppu salt bread!

There's also castella and roll cake varieties

Garlic rusk, alligator bread, meringue cookies — crunchy snacks too.

Besides bread, there were plenty of light snackable menus, so browsing was really fun 🤍 The portions are generous and everything is pre-packaged, so it'd make a nice no-fuss gift too haha

Blueberry pie and scones also came in several varieties, so picking took quite a while 🤍 Lots of light snack options, so it'd be easy to grab a bunch of different ones haha

White roll and mocha cream bread too! Both breads are soft and easy to bite, with a creamy flavor that's right up an older palate's alley 🤍

The white roll was thick and big, so just one felt filling!

After the bread, moving over I found a variety of slice cakes too

From cheesecake to fudgy brownie, tangy lemon cake, and rich mousse chocolate cake 🤎 If you like intense chocolate flavor like Matilda choco cake, there's something here for you too

What we ordered at Flowerpot Cafe and how it tasted

First I tried the walnut cream cheese bread! The edges were baked crispy, so picking those off first was its own treat 🤍 Big chunks of walnut studded throughout, chewy bread, plenty of cream cheese — nutty and creamy all at once haha

And the iced americano here was genuinely excellent ☕️ The beans were so good that the coffee itself was a total win!

Olive ciabatta straight out of the oven

I was just about to have my bread packed to go when a fresh batch of ciabatta came out...... couldn't resist my beloved ciabatta.

It was still warm, fresh out of the oven!

Loaded with olives and full of little holes from fermentation 🤍 Chewy yet soft — it felt like a soft rice cake turned into bread, honestly, and I devoured it right there at the table.

The rest of the bread can be individually packed to take home — enjoy it at home too 🤍

Is Flowerpot Cafe Gojan Branch worth a visit?

With bread neatly packed, off I went home 🤍 The coffee was great, the bread lineup huge, and picking through it all the way to eating was a genuinely fun visit!

With its green, botanical-garden feel, Flowerpot was also a nice place to just sit and relax! 🌼 🌺 Being near AW Convention, it's convenient to stop by before an appointment in Gojan-dong, for brunch, or as a date spot. With such a wide bread selection and delicious coffee, I recommend it to anyone looking for a dessert spot in Gojan-dong 😊
