Everyone, do you like pizza? Pizza is one of my top 5 favorite foods ever!! Franchise pizza is delicious too, but today I'm sharing my review of a spot famous for unusual pizzas in Songridan-gil — Pizza Never Sleeps Songridan-gil Branch!

From what I remember, Pizza Never Sleeps Songridan-gil Branch has almost no dedicated parking, and as everyone knows, parking in Songridan-gil in general is really, really hard. So the go-to spot is the nearby 'Songpa Women's Culture Center public parking lot'! Let me give you a quick rundown today. Follow follow me!!

The entrance is wide, so if you pull in slowly there's no trouble entering! I've used this lot many times before whenever I came near Songridan-gil, and there's never once been no spot available. Why? Because it's spacious with about 320 spots!! Ahh... so satisfying! haha

Head toward 'A-05' and you can get to the Songpa Women's Culture Center building!

Open hours are (weekdays) 6:00–22:00, (weekends) 8:00–18:30. I'll share info on the neighborhood park entrance another time — photos and info already prepped!!

Parking fee is ₩150 per 5 minutes, which is such a reasonable price considering the Jamsil/Songpa location!

Take the elevator up to the first floor and you're finally back outside! Ready to head to today's destination — Pizza Never Sleeps Songridan-gil Branch!!

What the entrance and basement dining room look like

Step slightly off the main Songridan-gil street and the stylish, hip exterior of Pizza Never Sleeps Songridan-gil Branch catches your eye. The sign and entrance already give off a serious pizza-place vibe!

Time to head down to the basement where the restaurant is!!

There are even chairs set up outside the entrance for waiting! Boss man~~ nice touch👍~~ hahahaha

The gorgeous European-style chandeliers hanging from the ceiling cast a soft glow over the dining room — honestly felt like I'd stepped into a piece of art! The interior was so stylish and elegant.

Seating and a full house on a weeknight at Pizza Never Sleeps

Seating was pretty generous: 5 tables for 4 and 12 tables for 2. Even though we visited on a weeknight evening, it was nearly full!

What stood out most was that around us, there were maybe 3 tables of people on blind dates! And you know how it is haha, my ears just automatically tune in when something as interesting as a blind date is happening nearby haha. Hope it all went well for everyone!! With this kind of atmosphere, it actually seems like a pretty solid spot for a blind date.

On one side of the restaurant there was a self-serve station for water, napkins, straws, and other essentials, and I loved that there was a phone charging zone too!

We sat down and checked the kiosk, and the very first screen had detailed 'how to use' info covering things people usually wonder about. Little details like this really show the owner's thoughtful care for guests.

Okay, refer to the above for the menu lineup! Now let's get into the real highlight — the pizza itself!

The order and the price: half-and-half pizza (R) for 34,000 won

We honestly wanted to try every single pizza on the menu!! Just from the photos, and even just looking at nearby tables, every single type of pizza looked delicious.. (a lot of people were also getting the potato + double pepperoni!) So picking took us a solid 10 minutes I think..! After much deliberation, we landed on the Gochujang Minari Pork Belly and Corn Brown!

And now — drumroll — the main dish!!

Why a pizza restaurant in Songpa serves kimchi as a side

Oh! There's a huge twist at Pizza Never Sleeps Songridan-gil Branch! Kimchi is served as a default side, haha. Kimchi at a pizza place..!! Such a sensation! I think older folks would love this too — in my family, my mom and dad always reach for a slice of kimchi whenever they eat pizza, hahahahahaha.

Something this good deserves a second look!! I already want to eat it again.. hahaha

How does the corn brown pizza taste?

First up, my wife's absolute favorite — the 'Corn Brown Pizza'! The look alone was impressive, and the flavor was creamy with a lovely savory depth. It was creamy for sure, but surprisingly not heavy at all. As I mentioned in a previous post, my wife isn't usually a fan of creamy, rich flavors, but since she picked 'Corn Brown Pizza' as her favorite between the two today, you can take that as proof it's

"creamy but not overwhelmingly rich"!

Gochujang minari pork belly pizza: how spicy is it?

And then there's the boldly named 'Gochujang Minari Pork Belly Pizza'!!!! This was my pick! At first I thought 'minari and gochujang... on pizza?' and couldn't picture the combo at all, but the moment I took a bite, the gochujang base hit with a pleasant kick of spice. Right after, the fragrant minari came through, pairing nicely with both the pork belly and the spicy sauce! The three together worked surprisingly well — a flavor that's hard to dislike. That said, the spice did build up the more I ate, but take that with a grain of salt since I have a low spice tolerance!!

Alternating a bite of the soft, sweet, savory 'Corn Brown' with a bite of the spicy, fragrant 'Gochujang Minari Pork Belly' made for a sweet-and-spicy combo that never got old!

Oh! And one more delicacy, everyone!! Dipping the chewy pizza crust into the two dipping sauces! My husband and I really enjoyed eating it this way!

Gone in a flash!! Every moment was pure happiness hahahaha. Definitely. Coming. Back.

Verdict: is Pizza Never Sleeps Songridan-gil good for a date night?

Recommendation points: This is a Songridan-gil favorite where you can enjoy unique, delicious pizza in an elegant, glamorous European-style atmosphere! The sweet-and-spicy combo of the creamy, savory 'Corn Brown' and the spicy, fragrant 'Gochujang Minari Pork Belly' half-and-half is incredibly appealing. Add in the rare touch of a default kimchi side at a pizza place, plus the chewy crust that's perfect dipped in sauce — nothing goes to waste! With this level of quality, I'd recommend it as a great spot for a Jamsil date or blind date.

A tip: given how hard parking is around Songridan-gil, if you're driving, use the Songpa Women's Culture Center public parking lot mentioned above (₩150 per 5 minutes) for a stress-free, comfortable visit. And when ordering pizza, definitely try the half-and-half to enjoy two flavors at once!!!
