I went to Park Man-bae Arirang Bossam near Wonheung Station, a spot known for gabrisal (pork shoulder) bossam — perfect for lunch. Even better, ordering bossam gets you a free choice of kalguksu (knife-cut noodle soup) or jaengban guksu (tray noodles), so even the small size is enough to fill up 2-3 people!

Park Man-bae Arirang Bossam menu and what I ordered
The main menu at Park Man-bae Arirang Bossam is just bossam, but with various combinations — kimchi bossam, napa cabbage bossam, oyster bossam, hongeo samhap (fermented skate combo), and more. On this visit I ordered the half-and-half bossam (small) for ₩42,000.

There's really just one main menu item — bossam — but with so many combination options like kimchi bossam, napa cabbage bossam, oyster bossam, and hongeo samhap, you can order to your taste.

There's also a half-and-half bossam with both kimchi and napa cabbage, so I ordered the half-and-half bossam (small) for ₩42,000.

Ordering bossam gets you a free choice of kalguksu or jaengban guksu — I went with kalguksu since I wanted something warm and brothy!
After ordering, the table gets set pretty quickly, no long wait.
What side dishes come with the bossam?
The basic table setting at Park Man-bae Arirang Bossam, Wonheung Station Branch includes salad, geotjeori (fresh kimchi), chive salad, stir-fried fish cake, chili peppers, garlic, ssamjang (dipping sauce), and salted shrimp. All the side dishes were neat and tasty.

The basic table setting comes with salad, geotjeori, chive salad, stir-fried fish cake, chili peppers, garlic, ssamjang, and salted shrimp.

All the side dishes were neat and tasty, and the salad especially was sweet and tangy — a great appetizer!
Half-and-half bossam (small), 42,000 won: the gabrisal cut
The half-and-half bossam (small) comes with napa cabbage and kimchi in equal amounts, and the meat is gabrisal (pork shoulder). Even in the small size, the portion of bossam was quite generous.

This is the half-and-half bossam with napa cabbage and kimchi side by side.

Even the small size has a pretty generous portion of bossam. Plus, the gabrisal was tender and juicy — way tastier than the belly cut!

Both the napa cabbage and the kimchi at Park Man-bae Arirang Bossam are delicious, so if it's your first visit, I recommend definitely getting the half-and-half.

As soon as it arrived, I had the warm bossam, and it really melts in your mouth, TT

Not a hint of gamey smell, just tender and delicious — you can immediately tell why this is a Wonheung Station favorite just from the meat alone.

The chive salad has a great aroma, so eating it together with the bossam is a nice treat.

The kimchi is crisp and refreshing geotjeori, so of course it's delicious, no need to say more.

The best bite to build with the gabrisal bossam
But personally, the combination I enjoyed most was wrapping it in napa cabbage plus mu kimchi (radish kimchi)!

Cool, crisp, spicy-sweet, paired with the savory, rich meat — beyond delicious! Even writing this now, my mouth is watering, haha.
Free kalguksu: portion size and taste
Ordering bossam gets you free kalguksu or jaengban guksu, and the kalguksu portion is like a serving for two. It had a clean, refreshing broth with half a crab and clams in it.

Getting free kalguksu or jaengban guksu with the bossam order is such a great deal.
And the portion is even like two servings' worth, so with bossam and kalguksu together, it's an incredibly filling meal!

The broth has zero seafood funk, just deep savory flavor and a clean finish, so I kept reaching for more, haha.

There's a whole half a crab in there too, so fresh that I picked out every bit of the meat!

Plenty of clams too, chewy and delicious, so I picked out and ate every single one, haha.

The noodles were chewy yet soft — didn't feel like a free side dish at all, more like kalguksu you'd pay for, haha.

Eaten together with the geotjeori it's incredibly good, so even though I was full, I finished every last bit.
Is Park Man-bae Arirang Bossam in Goyang worth it? Final verdict
A spot where the bossam, the kimchi, and the kalguksu are all delicious!
Since ordering bossam gets you free noodles too, even the small size is enough for 2-3 people to eat their fill — a great value restaurant. The bossam melts in your mouth, the kimchi is delicious, and the kalguksu is amazing, so this is now saved as my go-to Wonheung Station restaurant!
Great for both lunch and dinner, so I'd definitely visit again!!!
