Seogwipo café after Jeongbang Falls with baby chairs: Forest Jeongbang

The weather's been so nice for outings lately that on days off, we've been out and about with the family visiting pretty spots nonstop. We finally went to Jeongbang Falls — the one that drops straight into the sea — which we'd skipped all summer because of the long staircase. We dipped our feet in the falls and splashed around a bit, and before we knew it, it was time for my daughter's afternoon snack. The afternoon was a little warm too, so she asked for ice cream, and we ducked into Forest Jeongbang, a Seogwipo ocean-view café — the hall vibe was so good we ended up having a cool coffee and a proper rest too!

Where is Forest Jeongbang, and is parking easy?

Forest Jeongbang café sits right at the entrance to Jeongbang Falls. There's a spacious parking lot on the left side of the building, and since the café is right next to the road, parking was really easy.

So it's a great spot to rest after seeing Jeongbang or Sojeongbang Falls. Most people there had clearly just come from the falls. The building's halls are on two floors, and I was already looking forward to the ocean view. Let's see how it turns out!

On the first floor, the left side is the café area where you order, and the right side is a hall for relaxing with your drink. The cute dolls in the middle must be a photo zone. Step out between the buildings and you get a full view of Seopseom Island and the Seogwipo sea. If it's this good on the first floor, the second floor must be amazing~

Forest Jeongbang's first floor: ordering, seating and menu

The left hall on Forest Jeongbang's first floor is used for ordering and making drinks and desserts. This space was also spotless, so no complaints about the halls at all.

Forest Jeongbang's menu has lots of desserts and drinks that kids love too. So we ordered a cold iced americano, strawberry juldeok (strawberry latte), and an ice cream croffle.

After ordering, we looked around the first floor hall. It's quite spacious, and the tables are set well apart, so even with plenty of people having tea, our family ate really comfortably!

The first floor hall also has floor-to-ceiling windows opening onto the Seogwipo sea view. We sat on a sofa that just looked comfortable and ate there. There was also a table that looked great for laptop work — good for meetings, and great for sitting with friends too!

What is the second-floor ocean-view hall and balcony like?

Forest Jeongbang's second floor has quite spacious tables and a balcony facing the sea. Other places cram tables together to fit more customers, but here the sense of openness was really impressive.

On the second floor, there's a balcony set up so you can enjoy the ocean view up close. Coffee would taste even better sitting out here! But the wind was strong the day I visited, so I drank mine inside.

The Seogwipo KAL Hotel and Seopseom Island sea view stretch out fully. With the cool breeze too, just zoning out at the sea felt healing.

Every hall has a baby chair set up too, so parents can sit comfortably and enjoy a cup of tea even with a baby along~

How did the strawberry jumulleok and ice cream croffle taste?

The ice cream croffle we ordered at Forest Jeongbang came with two scoops of ice cream, and the strawberry juldeok (strawberry latte) was made by blending real strawberry flesh, so it was less sweet. Eating it while enjoying the ocean view made it taste even better~

Now, here's Forest Jeongbang's drinks and my daughter's favorite ice cream croffle, ta-da!

There's bread underneath the ice cream, so I guess we should slice it elegantly like eating a steak.

Let me try a bite. Wow! You know that premium ice cream taste? That's exactly it. And they gave us two whole scoops — such generosity.

The strawberry latte, maybe because they blend real strawberry flesh, had a nice texture, and without added sweeteners it wasn't too sweet, so it was great to share with my kid. A true strawberry latte spot~

Reading a book and eating ice cream! My ten-year-old really loves cafés~ So we've become parents who enjoy going to cafés with our daughter.
