Whew~ hello everyone. Today I'm introducing Hands Coffee, located in Dongchon Resort in Dong-gu, Daegu. I've always loved Hands Coffee for its drip coffee, and honestly, people in Daegu are blessed to have such a delicious café in their neighborhood.
Parking and floor layout at Hands Coffee Dongchon Resort Branch
Hands Coffee Dongchon Resort Branch has seating spread across the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th (rooftop) floors, so there's plenty of room haha. With its own parking lot and roadside parking available, there was no need to worry about parking, so I visited together with my sister and niece.

See how spacious the parking is? Cars come and go quickly too, so you can park without worrying about finding a spot. Large cafés like this are rare in downtown Daegu, so having one nearby was such a relief, ㅜㅜ
Here's the store entrance. The first floor is run by a different business, so you just head straight up to the 2nd floor.
A dedicated elevator that helps with kids and parents
Hands Coffee Dongchon Resort Branch also has its own dedicated elevator, so it looks like it'd be easy to visit with parents without worrying about stairs. Since I came with my niece, having the elevator was really convenient for me too.

Ordering at the kiosk: Hands House Brunch Set and jambon-beurre
Ordering is simple through the kiosk, and I ordered the Hands House Brunch Set and the soft jambon-beurre sandwich!

I really love Hands Coffee's waffles too, and honestly if it weren't for my wedding diet I'd have bought one on the spot haha. I still remember once during a fight with my fiancé, he suddenly went out and bought me that blueberry waffle, hahahaha.

And you all know Hands Coffee's hand-drip coffee is really delicious, right? I used to visit often just for the hand-drip coffee, so I think I need to come back for that again haha.

The open kitchen keeps the store looking clean, and since everything is made in full view, it felt even more trustworthy haha.

Inside floors 2, 3 and 4, plus the rooftop
Each floor at Hands Coffee Dongchon Resort Branch — 2nd, 3rd, and 4th — has its own charm, and the rooftop gives an open feel with a wide-open blue sky view. It seemed like it would look even prettier once the Dongchon Resort park construction is finished :) Even the stairwell has quiet background music as a nice touch, making you want to drink your coffee right there on the stairs — that's how many songs to my taste were playing.

The restrooms had a strong vintage feel and were kept clean, so they were pleasant to use haha. The 3rd floor is women-only, and the 4th floor has separate men's and women's restrooms.

How does the Soft Jambon-Beurre Sandwich taste?
Jambon-beurre is my absolute favorite sandwich, and the combination of plain bread, fresh ham, vegetables, and butter — with no special sauce — was a work of art. Since there's no strongly seasoned sauce, it's basically diet food itself haha. Even in the middle of wedding prep, it was easy to eat a full meal without any guilt. They gave ketchup and balsamic olive oil sauce on the side, so I could drizzle on whichever I preferred.

What comes with the Hands House Brunch Set
Egg, potato, sausage, ciabatta bread, and even the potato topped with onion cream — all delicious. Both the brunch and the sandwich had incredibly chewy, tasty bread. Everyone knows ciabatta helps prevent blood sugar spikes, right? Fermented bread is good for you all around haha. I liked that they made the sandwich with healthy bread instead of plain flour bread — maybe that's why nothing tasted bad even while dieting. It was fresh and mild, so it worked well in all kinds of combinations, clean and satisfying. Since it's healthy food, it also felt fine to feed to a child without worry, and the seasoning was just right — not salty at all, and delicious to the last bite.

Why Hands Coffee Dongchon Resort Branch works for brunch in Dong-gu, Daegu
I'd highly recommend this to anyone looking for a good brunch spot in Dong-gu, Daegu, and since they give a drink discount with the set menu, the price isn't too much of a burden either — I think I'll be back haha.
