It's located on the 2nd floor of Songdo Onesta, so it's an Onesta Mall favorite too haha.
You can just use the mall restrooms.

Is there a wait on weekdays at Sushi Doku The Songdo?
Sushi Doku Songdo exterior True to its reputation as a Songdo restaurant that always has a wait, there are always guests sitting on the chairs out front.

Even on a weekday, a wait forms before break time even ends haha.

There's a menu board out front, so you can decide what to order while you wait haha.

They prep and use up fresh ingredients daily, so you can always get fresh sushi here.

There's an umbrella stand by the entrance too, and it has that cozy feel.

Inside Sushi Doku The Songdo: curtained tables and baby chairs
Sushi Doku Songdo interior The inside is spacious with plenty of tables, so it's popular for solo dining, dates, or just eating out in general. There's no private room, but there are curtained tables that work great for group dinners too haha.
They also have warm plum tea~
There are baby chairs for guests with little ones, so it's great for a family meal out too.

In the drawer under the table there's a bottle opener, utensils, a brush set, napkins, and wet wipes, all generously stocked!

The Sushi Doku The Songdo menu and what we ordered
Sushi Doku menu (as of September 2026) Sushi Doku's sets look delicious from the get-go! There are three set tiers — Original Sushi Set, Premium Sushi Set, and Special Sushi Set — each pairing various sushi with sides like udon and tempura. I photographed all three for reference! There are also salmon, flounder, and salmon-and-flounder themed sets, plus a variety of à la carte sushi, udon, and sashimi options.
* What we ordered * Premium Sushi Set for two (₩25,900 x 2)

Take part in Sushi Doku's receipt review event and you get a ₩6,900-per-piece premium otoro sushi on the house — don't miss out on this perk!
Also worth checking Sushi Doku's country-of-origin info~

What comes with the 25,900-won Premium Sushi Set
Here come our two Premium Sushi Sets~

The plating is pretty and the colorful presentation makes the Premium Sushi Set look even more appetizing!

Pickled ginger and rakkyo, the sushi essentials, come out, and the soy sauce is poured for you.
Starting with a crisp salad,
and truffle chawanmushi (steamed egg custard) with a hint of truffle aroma! The texture is soft and gorgeous, with ginkgo nuts and shrimp inside haha.

A mini udon also comes out, featuring cute Nemo-shaped fish cake as the highlight~ The udon noodles are chewy and the broth is rich yet clean and delicious haha.

Tempura, the thing you always crave with sashimi or sushi... the Premium Sushi Set comes with tempura too haha.
Moist karaage (fried chicken) and a hefty fried shrimp! Freshly fried, crispy outside, piping hot inside — even the tempura is delicious at this Songdo restaurant.
The 10 pieces of sushi in the set, one by one
And true to a Songdo sushi restaurant, the visuals are on point — the Premium Sushi Set comes with 10 different pieces of sushi!
Starting with white fish sushi~ flounder sushi that chews soft with no toughness, and another flounder sushi topped with rich ankimo (monkfish liver)!
The squid sushi, ika sushi, with its chewy yet springy texture, is also so good haha.
Bouncy yet chewy northern pink shrimp and sweet shrimp sushi~ Even though it's raw shrimp, there's zero fishy taste at this Songdo sushi restaurant.
Tuna sushi topped with chopped scallions~ the tuna just melts in your mouth haha.
There's also snow crab sushi, with a generous, soft portion of crab meat.
The eel on the eel sushi is nice and big too, coated well with sweet sauce, and it chews soft with no bones!
And then Sushi Doku's popular salmon sushi! The salmon slice is genuinely long, and again, no fishy taste at all, just really, really good haha. If you're looking for a great salmon sushi spot in Songdo, I recommend Sushi Doku~

If the ankimo on top of the flounder wasn't quite enough for you, there's also a dedicated ankimo sushi where you can really taste that rich liver!

Two extra pieces of otoro for a receipt review
The otoro sushi we got from the review event~ Not overly rich but luxuriously fatty, this otoro sushi is genuinely amazing.. And it's not just one per table — you get one per person who joins the review event, so we got two whole pieces to enjoy haha.
Is Sushi Doku The Songdo worth it?
With its cozy vibe and clean interior, this is a Songdo sushi restaurant popular for dates and eating out alike! Following a daily-prep, daily-use-up policy, you can always get fresh sushi, and the well-composed sushi set menu — with salad, truffle chawanmushi, udon, tempura, and a variety of sushi all in one — comes highly recommended~ It's already word-of-mouth famous as a Songdo restaurant, so expect a wait, but the staff are so kind that you'll still have a pleasant meal. Highly recommend Sushi Doku The Songdo!
