Today I visited a hidden gem near Yadang Station in Paju where you can properly enjoy fresh, high-quality yukhoe (Korean raw beef). It's Yukhoe Maltuout Paju Yadang Branch, and from the clean interior to the friendly service to the fresh Hanwoo (Korean beef) menu, it was all perfect — so I wanted to share it with you!

Yukhoe Maltuout Paju Yadang Branch: hours and parking
Yukhoe Maltuout Paju Yadang Branch is located at 148, 1F, Yueun Tower 5, 29 Sorichun-ro, Paju-si, Gyeonggi-do. Hours are 17:30–02:00 the next day Monday through Thursday and Sunday, and 17:30–03:00 the next day Friday and Saturday, which makes it perfect for a late-night drinking spot.
There's a spacious parking lot in the building, and they even offer free parking, which was really convenient.
As soon as I stepped inside, the clean, well-organized, and hygienic atmosphere stood out right away.
The staff greeted us with bright smiles, so we could sit down feeling great : )

What's on the menu and why we chose the 1 OUT set
Looking at the menu at Yukhoe Maltuout Paju Yadang Branch, the range of choices was really wide. Alongside the signature yukhoe and yuksashimi, there's Hanwoo tataki, a refreshing sweet-and-tangy yukhoe mulhoe (cold raw beef soup), filling beef sushi and yukhoe bibimbap, and beef ramyeon with an outstanding broth!
Besides the à la carte dishes, there are also set menus that let you enjoy even more when visiting with a group, so it's easy to pick according to your taste. Our pick that day was the 1 OUT set — a combination of yuksashimi, yukhoe, and beef ramyeon!

Free starters: porridge, tripe and raw liver
Once we finished ordering, neat basic side dishes were set out. The first to arrive was a warm porridge, perfect for gently soothing an empty stomach — I was impressed by the thoughtfulness!

Next came tripe and raw liver, also served as standard, which are basically proof of freshness haha. They were fresh with no gamey smell at all, which really built up my anticipation even before the main dishes arrived.

Yuksashimi with seaweed and cheese: how to eat it
Finally, one of the main dishes I'd been waiting for — the yuksashimi — arrived!

The freshness was unbelievable just from the look of it. The vivid red color and the marbling were pure perfection!

Along with the yuksashimi came seaweed, cheese, and a variety of special sauces to pair with it, so there was fun in picking and choosing what to eat.

The moment I popped a piece into my mouth, the chewy yet firm texture was amazing. Paired with fragrant minari (water dropwort), the flavor doubled!

Piling cheese and yuksashimi onto salty seaweed and dipping it into the special soy sauce was also really delicious!

Highball pairing and seasoned yukhoe
With such delicious food, drinks were a must, so we ordered a highball too — and the pairing was really good!

The freshness of the yukhoe was just as overwhelming to look at, and you could tell right away that top-grade Hanwoo was used.

The special seasoning, mildly sweet and salty, had soaked all the way into the meat, so our chopsticks never stopped moving.

It melted smoothly in the mouth and just slid down — an addictive flavor!

They also gave us a warm beef soup packed with meat, and the broth was mild and really delicious. With side dishes this good, of course the drinks kept flowing!

In the end, we ordered one more drink and enjoyed a perfect late-night meal.

Finishing the night with beef ramyeon
The beef ramyeon, which takes responsibility for a solid finish to a drinking session, is an absolute hidden card you should never skip! Unlike regular ramyeon, it's packed with beef, giving the broth an exceptional depth and umami.

Springy noodles and beef generously piled in, giving off a rich, spicy-savory broth! The moment I took a bite, everything felt instantly resolved, and the spicy kick cleanly cut through the greasiness in my mouth. I thought there couldn't be a better way to finish.

A clean store atmosphere, friendly service, the quality of fresh Hanwoo with no gamey smell, and even the beef ramyeon — it was a perfectly rounded experience. If you're looking for a no-fail yukhoe restaurant near Yadang Station in Paju, I recommend Yukhoe Maltuout Paju Yadang Branch!
