Tender beef in Gojan-dong
I happened to visit this great Gojan-dong spot while looking to put something rich in my stomach, and goodness—it was a proper beef restaurant! From the kind service from the owner and staff to the pleasant interior, and above all, the incredibly tender and delicious beef.

Yangsimso Ansan Gojan Branch visitor information
It is at Unit 119, 1F, 33 Danggok-ro, Danwon-gu, Ansan-si, Gyeonggi-do, and is open daily from 11:00 to 22:30. Reservations, takeout, high chairs, group visits, and paid corkage are available.
There is a spacious parking lot on B1 of the FrauM City building, so parking is easy. It is free for up to two hours, though customers and visitors may use B1 only. If the building garage is full, use the public parking lot behind Shinwon Plaza: ₩600 for the first 30 minutes, ₩1,500 for one hour, and ₩3,300 for two hours.
The restaurant is clean and very spacious, so it is excellent for groups too. A fitting spot for company dinners or gatherings!

There are high chairs, making it a nice place for families to visit. Beyond the chairs, they even had silicone children's meal trays and bibs, which showed the owner's thoughtfulness.

From aged beef to lunch specials
Aged beef such as LA galbi, flower ribs, and hanger steak are the signature dishes. But it is not only about beef! There is Korean pork too: fresh pork belly, fresh pork neck, and marinated pork ribs.
At lunchtime, there are good-value lunch specials: a set with meat alone and a naengmyeon set served with naengmyeon (cold buckwheat noodles). If you want naengmyeon, I recommend choosing the naengmyeon set. And just so you know, the lunch-special naengmyeon is a full meal portion, not a small after-meal serving!

There is also a varied selection of alcohol and soft drinks, and paid corkage is available, so it is a great place to enjoy a drink with high-quality aged beef.

A 2-person marinated beef rib meat naengmyeon set
I ordered the marinated beef rib meat naengmyeon set for two, with one mul naengmyeon (cold noodles in chilled broth) and one bibim naengmyeon (spicy mixed cold noodles). I also added steamed egg and brisket doenjang jjigae (soybean paste stew).
- Marinated beef rib meat naengmyeon set for 2: 2 servings of marinated beef rib meat, mul naengmyeon, and bibim naengmyeon
- Steamed egg
- Doenjang jjigae
The basic side dishes included salad, white kimchi, green-onion kimchi, seasoned shredded scallions, and all kinds of sauces that went beautifully with the meat.
Two servings of marinated beef rib meat
Marinated beef rib meat naengmyeon set for 2 (lunch special)
This was two servings of 10-year-tradition marinated rib meat, full of smoky fire flavor and bursting with tenderness. The heat was strong, so the meat cooked very quickly too. Since it was marinated rib meat, the seasoning deeply absorbed into the meat was seriously the key.
It was truly sweet, so juicy, and honestly just melted in my mouth—melted right away ㅜ
It was delicious simply dipped in the meat sauce or classically in salt. Add a little shiitake mushroom wasabi too—the zippy savory flavor went so well with the tender beef.
Doenjang jjigae

A stew is indispensable with meat, right? This doenjang jjigae came in a ttukbaegi (earthenware pot), so I could enjoy it warm for a long time.

Not only was it filled with vegetables like onion and zucchini, but it even had beef in the stew, so the rich broth was fantastic. The kind of flavor that makes you reach for rice...!
Volcano steamed egg

And of course, I had to order steamed egg too. It was so puffed up it looked ready to leap right out at any moment—haha. A true volcano steamed egg!
The sweet-spicy savoriness of bibim naengmyeon

The deeply flavored house seasoning coated every strand of noodle, and every bite delivered that perfect sweet-spicy savoriness through the chewy noodles and seasoning together.

It was a little spicier than I expected, so it may be a bit difficult for anyone who cannot handle spice well. But it cuts right through the richness of the meat, making this bibim naengmyeon impossible to stop eating.
A clean finish with mul naengmyeon
With its chilled broth and springy noodles, this mul naengmyeon was perfect for finishing the meal with a clean palate. It was generously filled with slushy ice, so refreshing! The broth was so clean and mild, with a subtle savoriness rather than an overwhelming flavor, and it paired wonderfully with the meat.
Thoughtfulness even after the meal
After finishing everything, I went to the counter to pay and found sweet candies, dental floss, and even mouthwash for a refreshing finish. The owner's good sense and consideration really stood out.
