Seoul Station sandwich shop grilled cheese on baguette: Dance Dance
In short
Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station is a sandwich shop on basement level 3 of the Grand Central building in Jung-gu, Seoul. The writer stopped by with her husband after a weekend workout and ordered the grilled cheese sandwich, which — unlike the other sandwiches — comes on baguette only with no ciabatta swap, and the crisp baguette paired well with the melted cheese and jalapeño. Dance Dance Dance is a solid pick for a light but filling lunch near Seoul Station.

On a weekend, my husband and I worked out and thought about what to eat afterward, and I suddenly craved a really good sandwich 😳 So we headed to Seoul Station, close to home!! 🚙 Let me introduce the sandwich we enjoyed.
Where is Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station, and what are the hours?
Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station is a sandwich shop on basement level 3 of the Grand Central building. It's open daily from 07:00 to 19:00, last order is 18:30, and you can also order through Naver.

Being on B3 of the Grand Central building, it's a good stop when you're looking for somewhere to eat near Seoul Station. The name itself is cute and unique, so it really stuck in my memory haha

We visited during weekend lunchtime with my husband, and there were quite a few other people who'd come for a simple lunch just like us! Since it's a sandwich specialty shop, it's a great pick for days you don't want to eat too heavy. It'd also be good if you have plans near Seoul Station or are an office worker looking for a quick lunch 👍🏻

There's also a coffee menu you can enjoy alongside the sandwiches — perfect for brunch!!

It's easy to think of a sandwich as a simple food, but these days the taste really depends a lot on the combination of fillings and the bread.

The 'Dance Run' coffee discount for runners
Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station also runs a 'Dance Run' event where you can get ₩1,000 off coffee by showing proof of a run. Runners, come run all the way to Seoul Station and enjoy a tasty brunch 🏃🏻♀️

The Dance Dance Dance menu and why the grilled cheese is baguette only
The Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station menu includes the fall seasonal items, fig matcha baguette and fig pistachio baguette, and the summer seasonal corn tofu cream cheese baguette and pollack roe potato sandwich are still orderable too.
- Fall season: fig matcha baguette, fig pistachio baguette
- Summer season: corn tofu cream cheese baguette, pollack roe potato sandwich
- Regular menu: chicken breast sandwich, egg potato sandwich, jambon jalapeño sandwich, honey butter baguette, and more
- Sides: scones, mushroom soup
Beyond the seasonal items, there's chicken breast sandwich, egg potato sandwich, jambon jalapeño sandwich, honey butter baguette, and more!! As a proper sandwich specialty shop, the variety is huge. There are also scones and mushroom soup as side items, so you can enjoy dessert all in one place 🧡
What we ordered that day was the grilled cheese sandwich 🥪. Most of the other sandwiches can be swapped to ciabatta bread, but the grilled cheese sandwich is only available on baguette, so keep that in mind!

How did the grilled cheese sandwich taste?
When we got our grilled cheese sandwich, the baguette looked nicely golden-brown even from the outside 🥖. The first thing I noticed on the first bite was, as expected, the crisp texture of the baguette.

The outside was crispy while the inside wasn't too hard, just chewy enough, which made for a great bite!! And inside, there was a generous amount of cheese, warmly melted and soft, that went really well with the baguette 😳

After the rich, smooth taste of the cheese hits first, the jalapeño pops in right after with a little kick, and I kept reaching for more 🤤. Eating it warm especially made the contrast between the melty cheese and crispy bread even better!!

If it were all cheese, it could get greasy, but the sharp, slightly spicy kick of the jalapeño in between cut through that completely 🌶️. The combo of crispy baguette + savory salty cheese + spicy jalapeño worked out much better than I expected.
Just one sandwich was surprisingly filling, so it was plenty for a simple weekend lunch 🧡. If you want something simple but genuinely delicious near Seoul Station, I'd recommend Dance Dance Dance.
We only ordered the grilled cheese sandwich this time, but next time I want to try the other sandwiches too haha
