Sunday lunch wait at a Seoul Station brunch café: Dance Dance Dance
In short
Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station is a baguette sandwich brunch shop on B3 of Grand Central by Seoul Station in Jung-gu, Seoul. Sunday lunch was packed enough that a seat was hard to come by, but the spiral staircase and high ceilings gave plenty to look at while waiting, and ordering the fig pistachio baguette with an Americano came with a free drip bag. The pistachio cream, made with tofu cream cheese, tasted light rather than heavy, making it a strong pick among the first fig menus of autumn.

Sunday lunch at Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station: what the shop is like
I went to Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station for Sunday lunch! I figured it'd be quiet since it was a weekend (?) but it was so packed it was hard to even find a seat.

The spiral staircase and interior are so unique that just watching the crowd and the space was fun on its own. The ceilings are high and the lighting is gorgeous haha

Famous in Hannam-dong, and the Seoul Station branch is just as busy
This is the place that got famous back in Hannam-dong after Kang Min-kyung and Lee Hyeri raved about it, and it's been at Seoul Station for a while now too. Celebrity-famous restaurants often fade fast, but seeing this one still draw crowds after all this time made me think it genuinely has the chops.

Last time I visited the Hannam-dong branch I had the chicken breast sandwich, but I heard the Dubai and pistachio ones are amazing right now, so this time I came back specifically for the pistachio fig sandwich haha

So many delivery orders on the weekend too...

The staff wearing the brand's goods is so cute haha

An Americano with a free drip bag
I ordered one Americano and the fig pistachio baguette, and they threw in a free drip bag too. Little touches like this just put me in a good mood 🥰

The beans themselves were so good I figured they must make the drip bags in-house too. The Americano paired perfectly with the sandwich.

How does the fig pistachio baguette taste?
I hadn't had a single fig yet this year, and my first one here was so sweet and delicious. To think my first autumn fig of the year would taste this good... You could really feel the freshness of a seasonal fruit, and it made autumn feel real 🍁

The pistachio flavor came through stronger than I expected, but the pistachio cream wasn't heavy at all. Since the cream is made with tofu cream cheese, it felt light and unburdensome.

There was fig jam inside too, so a gentle sweetness carried all the way through — delicious. The fig slices were fresh with juiciness still intact, and the crunch of the pistachio crumble added even more texture. I loved the variety.

And above all, the bread itself was so delicious and soft. I kind of wish I'd taken home a loaf of just the bread...

Was the weekend wait worth it?
It was a weekend so there was a wait and a lot of people, but the taste was worth it all. 🧡 If you're looking for the perfect menu for fig season this autumn, I highly recommend Dance Dance Dance!
