Lash salon in Jeonpo, Busan: lash perm for droopy lashes, Double D

In short

Double D is a lash salon in Busanjin, Busan, about 200m from Exit 2 of Bujeon Station, on the second floor of the Monkey Brown building on Jeonpo-daero 275beon-gil. My sister's lashes drooped downward even with mascara, but after a lash perm at Double D the curl stood up firmly and her eyes looked much more defined; the visit also included a consultation before the treatment, two private rooms and tea and snacks in the waiting area. If you want to make the most of your own lashes instead of extensions, a lash perm at Double D is a good match.

Why I went along to Double D for a lash perm in Jeonpo

Today's visit is to Double D, a lash studio in Jeonpo. I wasn't the one getting treated — a close unnie of mine was getting a lash lift, so I tagged along haha😎

I usually go for lash extensions myself, but she regularly gets lash lifts instead. It really seems like everyone has their own preferred lash style. If you like a bold, full look, extensions might suit you better, but if you want to keep your natural lashes while adding a clean curl, a lash lift seems to work well😄 Both extensions and lash lifts have their own clear advantages, so it's really about choosing based on the style you usually prefer☝️

Where Double D is: 200m from Bujeon Station Exit 2

Double D is located on the 2nd floor of the Monkey Brown building, across from the Lotte Castle near Bujeon Station. It's also about 200m from Exit 2 of Bujeon Station, so it was easy enough to get to by public transit.

When visiting somewhere for the first time, finding the actual building can be surprisingly tricky, but this one wasn't hard to spot from the main street, and once you're inside and up to the 2nd floor, it's easy to find. A lot of people have been looking for lash studios around Jeonpo lately, so if you're searching for a Jeonpo lash lift, this location is worth keeping in mind☝️

The Double D logo caught my eye right at the entrance. It has two D's in it, matching the shop name perfectly.

Before the lash perm: lashes that drooped even with mascara

Let's look at the before/after first☝️ A lash lift is definitely more convincing to see than to describe, so here's what things looked like before and after.

Drooping lashes before the lash lift treatment

Short, uncurled lashes before treatment

Before the treatment, even with mascara on, her lashes overall looked limp and drooped downward. Her lashes were also a bit on the shorter side, so they didn't really stand out when her eyes were open. If you're someone whose curl drops easily over time even after using a lash curler and mascara, this is probably a familiar frustration.

The shop space where the Double D consultation took place

Consultation at Double D: choosing a curl that suits your eyes

At Double D, they did a short consultation before starting the treatment. For a lash lift, it's not just about lifting everything as high as possible — it matters to set the curl level according to your lash length, texture, and eye shape.

Apparently the ideal curl can vary depending on lash length, direction, and eye shape, which is why the consultation on desired style is an important step. If the curl is too extreme, it might actually clash with your eye shape, so it's best to clearly communicate what look you want before starting. After the consultation, she was led to a room😄

Two private treatment rooms at Double D

There are two rooms total, but since other customers were in there during my visit, I couldn't take detailed photos of the interior😅 Still, going in, it clearly felt separated from the outside space — quiet and private. Since a lash lift means lying down comfortably with your eyes closed, I liked that there was this kind of independent space👍

Inside Double D: the salon's mood and waiting area

Honestly, from the outside of the building alone, I never would have guessed the shop would look like this — but stepping inside the 2nd floor, the vibe completely flipped!😍 The interior was clean, mostly white-toned, with cute little decor pieces added throughout, giving it an overall tidy yet cozy feel🤍

The shop itself was bigger than expected, so it never felt cramped and there was plenty of room to relax. Lash studios usually make you picture a tiny space, but Double D's spaciousness made a comfortable first impression.

While she was getting her treatment, I waited around and, getting thirsty, went looking for water — that's when I found the snack area. It wasn't just water available; there was a selection of teas and light snacks too. Cute little decor pieces were scattered around the area as well, so it was fun to look around while waiting😚

After the lash perm: how much a lifted curl changed her eyes

Once the lash lift at Double D was done, the before/after difference was clear. Lashes that had been drooping down were now lifted up overall, and her eyes looked noticeably more defined!👍

With curl set into each individual lash, they also looked a bit longer, and her whole eye area looked much more distinct. Best of all, even without mascara, her lashes were naturally lifted, so her eyes looked cleaner and sharper when open. Lashes that used to look short became much more visible once the curl was lifted — it really is true that lash curl alone can change your whole look.

Unlike extensions, which add fuller volume, a lash lift seems like a great fit for anyone who wants to keep their natural lashes while cleaning up and defining their eyes.

Looking for a lash salon in Jeonpo or near Bujeon Station?

I didn't get treated myself today, but watching the whole process — from consultation to treatment to the finished result — actually got me interested in trying a lash lift too. Seeing the before/after side by side, it's surprising how much just changing the lash curl can sharpen your whole eye area.

  • If you're looking into a lash lift in Jeonpo or want an accessible lash studio near Bujeon Station, Double D is worth checking out
  • It's a good option not just for those searching for a Jeonpo lash lift, but also for anyone near Bujeon Station looking into a Seomyeon lash lift☝️
  • For those like me who usually prefer extensions, switching things up occasionally with a lift that enhances your natural lashes isn't a bad idea either🤍
