Caesar salad and today's pizza at Seongsu pizzeria Pizza Slice Seoul
In short
Pizza Slice Seoul is a Tokyo-born slice pizzeria on the basement floor at 159 Achasan-ro, near Seongsu Station in Seongdong, Seoul. A friend and I had one slice each of today's pizza (₩8,000) and the white Hawaiian (₩7,800), with a Caesar salad (₩6,000) and a Zero Coke (₩3,000) for a light meal. Pizza Slice Seoul sits on the quiet side away from the busy Seongsu strip, and its floor-to-ceiling window seats keep the basement from feeling closed in.

Heard there was a hot pizza place in Seongsu, so I went with a friend to check it out !! Pizza Slice Seongsu 🍕

On the quiet side of Seongsu, away from the crowds
Seongsu has gotten so crowded lately that it drains my energy, but Pizza Slice Seongsu is on the opposite side from the busy main street, so it was nice and quiet ㅠㅠ I get so drained from the waiting lines and crowds everywhere I go, but visiting here I really liked it 🍕🍕🍕

Trendy and hip from the entrance. Turns out it's Pizza Slice, famous as a hotspot in Tokyo. A pizza place straight from Tokyo, expecting good things ~ you go down a staircase to the basement level.

A basement with a huge window — Pizza Slice Seoul's interior
The tables were stylish, I loved the interior so much I took tons of photos. The wood and white interior really worked for me.

Even though it's underground, natural light comes in well and the vibe was great. Takeout is available too, and a lot of customers were just grabbing a quick bite. Most of all, being able to enjoy one slice at a time is a real plus.

There's a window this big, so even though it's a basement it never feels stuffy at all!
The vibe is really great haha, the interior. It reminded me of old-school pizza place interiors from when I was a kid.

There's group seating too, so no worries if you come with a bunch of people.
Wait, this seat is so pretty too. It's underground, yet there's a huge window like this, no people walking by, and you can see the green trees — pure healing haha.
They also had a high chair available.

Pizza Slice Seoul's menu and what we ordered
Wow, so many delicious-looking pizzas. There were quite a lot of types, so it was hard to decide which flavor to get.

With so many pizza types, it seemed like fun to pick and choose. Pizza plus a drink comes to around 10,000 won, so it also felt like great value — Pizza Slice! Since it's sold by the slice, you can try different flavors, which I really liked.
- Cheese pizza
- Pepperoni pizza
- Mushroom pizza
- Jalapeño cream cheese slice pizza
- White Hawaiian slice
- Homemade meatball slice, and more

Today's pizza changes every day, so the price changes too ~

There were various types of tables, each with a different feel. We decided to eat here haha. Being all white tones, it seemed like it would photograph well too ~
Today's pizza and white Hawaiian, one slice each, plus Caesar salad

The pizza came out warm and freshly heated. Caesar salad, and two pizza slices. We decided to eat light (?) so we each ordered one slice and also got a salad — the Caesar salad was so good.

There are times when you want pizza but finishing a whole pie feels like too much — being able to each pick your own slice like this is really appealing!

The Caesar salad had cheese grated generously on top. Eating pizza together with the salad felt satisfying and I got to eat more vegetables too, which was nice.

Today's pizza, piled high with toppings and cheese

Both my friend and I cut ours in half to enjoy it a bit longer lol

On the table there was hot sauce, oregano, pepper and more to add on the side, so you could season it however you like.

Cleanup is self-service!

A Seongsu pizzeria that also works well for a date
The atmosphere was so nice it seemed like it would make a great date spot too, and the food was tasty — Pizza Slice Seongsu.

Photos come out great too hahaha, nice.
There's even a waiting area set up (meaning it's popular and there's often a wait..)
The restrooms were separated for men and women too, clean and nice.

If you're looking for a hip pizza place in Seongsu, I recommend Pizza Slice.
