Parking at Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch: where to leave the car

I went back to Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch after a while, a place well known as a go-to spot for family meals in Nowon :) Both basement and ground parking are available, so it's easy to drive here, which is why I often come with my parents.

I always book ahead through Naver Reservations before I go. Even on weekdays, more people show up than you'd expect, so booking in advance means you get seated right away!

Kuu Kuu's prices differ by weekday lunch, weekday dinner, and weekend/holiday.

This Nowon family-meal favorite is open from 11am to 9:30pm, and until 10pm on weekends and holidays! Parking is available in the building's basement lot, and on Saturdays you can also park at the Hagye Techno Town basement lot.

4 adults and 1 baby: the back table with stroller space

The interior of Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch is a hugely spacious, pleasant 300-pyeong space — perfect if you're looking for a place for a family gathering in Nowon. There's also a separate room in the back, so you can rent it out for first-birthday parties and other events!

We booked for 4 adults and 1 baby, and since they thought we might have a stroller, they set us up at a roomy table in the back. I've been here many times, and the staff are always so kind that I leave feeling good every time '-'

People used to think of Kuu Kuu as mainly a sushi buffet, but that's old news. These days there's sushi, of course, plus all kinds of other food, which makes it even better as a go-to for Nowon family meals.

At Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch you can also drink unlimited draft beer for ₩5,900 — and if you write a review, you can get unlimited beer for free!!!!

Sushi selection, from flounder to salmon

There's such a wide variety of sushi that you can eat as much of your favorites as you like! I honestly think that when you're craving sushi, coming to Kuu Kuu for a bunch of different kinds might beat going to a regular sushi restaurant.

I couldn't fit all of it in photos, but as you can see, there are quite a lot of sushi varieties 🍣 The flounder sushi and salmon sushi now come with bigger cuts of fish than before, so you get a full mouthful of sushi flavor. And I liked that the rice portion isn't too much either!

New on the menu: lamb chops, fried dishes and pizza

Beyond sushi, there's a wide range of other food. This time they launched lamb ribs — tender with a distinctive rich flavor — and you can eat as much of it as you like!

I love this kind of fried food — french fries, hot dogs, cheese sticks and more, so you get to pick and choose, which I love. My parents give me a hard time for eating stuff like this at a buffet, but hey, it's tasty, what can you do~~

There's pizza too, so Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch is a great place for people of all ages to enjoy. There's food kids will love and food adults will love, so honestly there's no better place for a family meal in Nowon! Also, marble ice cream used to be available only at weekday dinner and on weekends, but now you can enjoy it at weekday lunch too. My first kid loves marble ice cream so much that if I'd brought her, she'd have kept eating it nonstop hahaha.

The dessert and drinks corner at Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch

There's salad, fruit, and other desserts too, perfect for cleansing your palate after the meal. Is there anywhere else where you can take care of everything from the meal to dessert?

There's a variety of soft drinks, slushies, and coffee too, so you can drink whatever you like haha. And since there's more than one drink and coffee machine, no one has to wait in line — that made things convenient.

This time I ate my fill of salmon sushi and plenty of other sushi too, so I probably won't be craving sushi for a while haha. Just eating a variety of sushi alone can fill you up surprisingly well. My parents wanted sushi too, and they enjoyed it a lot!

Is Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch okay with a baby?

We started with sushi and then moved on to everything else, and I genuinely felt like I was going to burst!!! It had been a while since we'd eaten out with my parents, and both they and we ate really well. There's a separate high chair and playroom too, so it's really great to bring a child along!

As long as your baby will wait patiently while mom eats... hahaha, this might be the best place to eat out. If you're looking for a go-to spot for a family gathering in Nowon, I recommend Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch 😄
