6,000 won shaved ice to go at Ward Coffee, an Eunpyeong café
In short
Ward Coffee Gusan Station Branch is a dessert café at 129 Seooreung-ro in Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul, a short walk from Gusan Station. The writer ordered shaved ice, deli manju (small custard-filled cakes) and an iced Americano at the kiosk for takeout, and staff asked how long the trip home would take before adding an ice pack, so the shaved ice never melted. At 6,000 won the shaved ice was generous enough to share, making Ward Coffee Gusan Station Branch an Eunpyeong café worth a return visit.

Ward Coffee is the special café of the world's cutest owner Wadi, and it's known for cute little touches tucked into every corner of the store.

While waiting for drinks you can take a photo with the receipt photo booth for a small memento, so it's a café that packs in fun along with good value.
Where Ward Coffee sits among Eunpyeong cafés
Ward Coffee Gusan Station Branch sits on Seooreung-ro in Eunpyeong, Seoul, so it's easy to get to if you're looking for a Yeokchon-dong café too.
It's within walking distance of Gusan Station, so it's an easy visit for anyone relying on public transit. This was my first time discovering that Eunpyeong has such a cute yet substantial café, and I have a feeling I'll be coming back here often.
Inside Ward Coffee: atmosphere and interior
Ward Coffee Gusan Station Branch is fairly compact, but there are enough seats set up for eating in. That said, most customers seemed to be taking their orders to go.
The interior is decorated in a pretty cute concept, so I'd recommend this Gusan Station café to anyone who likes taking photos. Thanks to the little props hidden here and there, the wait didn't feel boring at all.
What's on the menu at Ward Coffee Gusan Station Branch

The menu lineup at Ward Coffee Gusan Station Branch was much more varied than I expected.
- Shaved ice (bingsu)
- Hotteok (sweet Korean pancake)
- Potato bread
- Waffles
- Churros
- Various drinks (strawberry cream puff shake, red tomato juice, etc.)
- 1L bottle drinks
I heard the strawberry cream puff shake and red tomato juice are especially popular with visitors, so I'm planning to try them next time for sure.
The 1L bottle drinks are great for sharing among a group, and offered at a reasonable price for anyone who wants a large portion — a really satisfying lineup.
Kiosk ordering and the staff at Ward Coffee
Ordering was done through a kiosk.

The menu was well organized so even first-time visitors shouldn't have trouble ordering. We'd just eaten and wanted something for dessert, so, curious about the menu, we ordered shaved ice, deli manju, and an iced Americano.
The staff were genuinely kind too, which gave the whole café a great impression. The clean upkeep and friendly service were part of why this café landed back on my Eunpyeong café list.
How does Ward Coffee pack shaved ice for takeout?
After a short wait, our order came out. Knowing shaved ice can melt during transport, the staff first asked how long our trip home would take, then packed it with an ice pack.
Thanks to that thoughtful touch, the shaved ice stayed intact the whole way home without melting. It's a small thing, but that kind of considerate service is a big part of why I'd want to come back.
How the shaved ice, deli manju and iced Americano tasted

Once home, after eating a meal, we dug into the desserts we'd brought back.

Despite the reasonable price of 6,000 won, the shaved ice came in a really generous portion, and the sweetness came through nicely — very satisfying. Plenty for several people to share.
The deli manju had cooled down a bit by the time we ate it, but after a quick run through the air fryer it was even better than I expected — crisp outside and moist inside.

The iced Americano's coffee flavor was solid and clean, an easy match alongside the desserts.
Verdict: is this Eunpyeong café worth a return trip?
This visit was my first time discovering the Ward Coffee brand, and between the reasonable prices, varied menu, friendly service, and thoughtful care, it was a satisfying experience all around. If you're looking for a café near Gusan Station, or in the Yeokchon-dong area, I think it's worth a visit.
I still want to try the popular drinks like the strawberry cream puff shake and red tomato juice next time, and the 1L bottle drinks seem great to enjoy with family, so I think I'll be dropping by fairly often going forward.
In short, Ward Coffee Gusan Station Branch on Seooreung-ro in Eunpyeong is a Eunpyeong café and Gusan Station café with a cute interior, varied desserts, and friendly service — a great-value spot I can easily recommend to anyone looking for a Yeokchon-dong café.
