A lunchtime catch-up over drinks at Roastery Stan, a Yeoksam café
A close friend of mine who lives all the way in northern Seoul texted saying she was in Gangnam for a hospital visit. It happened to be my lunch break at work, so I looked for a café near Yeoksam Station to squeeze in a quick visit, and ended up at Roastery Stan Yeoksam Main.
Parking at Roastery Stan: one hour covered near Yeoksam Station
Roastery Stan Yeoksam Main is at 52 Nonhyeon-ro 85-gil, 1F Unit 114, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. It's about a 3-minute walk down the alley toward the Finance Center side of Yeoksam Station.
Being near Yeoksam Station made it a convenient meeting point even during a lunch break for someone working near Gangnam Station, and since it's a café with parking, it's also handy for anyone driving in. Parking around Yeoksam Station is usually a headache, so having a full hour of parking support felt like a real perk.
Four house-roasted beans, because Roastery Stan runs its own roastery
True to its name, this café is run directly by a roastery company, so the coffee options were extensive. The menu listed separate bean choices — Deep Sleep, Deep Yellow, Deep Red, Deep Black — and noted you could enjoy their own house-roasted beans as filter coffee.
If you have particular coffee preferences, choosing between the beans looks like it could be fun.
What desserts does Roastery Stan Yeoksam have?
The menu was also a bit different from what you typically see at other cafés near Yeoksam Station. Beyond drinks, they had sandwiches, fresh fruit sando (fruit sandwiches), cakes, and bottled coffee beans,

What we ordered: avocado banana shake and lemon ade
We ordered a fresh avocado banana shake, a lemon ade, and the gluten-free Basque cheesecake.
I'd already had two cups of coffee earlier that day, so I couldn't have any — a bit of a shame!!
The banana avocado shake was an exciting combination just by the name. The banana's soft sweetness paired with the avocado's dense texture made it feel more like a hearty shake than a light drink. The lemonade was refreshing and paired well with the cheesecake.
Gluten-free Basque cheesecake, limited to 30 a day
The gluten-free Basque cheesecake is sold as a size-2 cake cut into quarters.
It's baked fresh daily and limited to 30 servings a day, which made it even more intriguing. The exterior was deeply caramelized, giving the cheesecake a striking look. The texture was a bit different from a typical cheesecake — crumbly, in a good way :)
Curious about which cream cheese they used, I peeked and spotted Kirkland cream cheese in the fridge.
Bungeoppang sold in front of Roastery Stan, 1,000 won each
Out front of the café, they were also selling bungeoppang (fish-shaped pastry).
The bungeoppang had a style with wide, extended fins on the edges, which was hard to walk past. This kind of crispy-edged bungeoppang is exactly my type, so I'd love to grab one next time I'm passing by. Prices were listed at ₩1,000 for one and ₩4,000 for five, with a note that you'd get one free for writing a Naver review.
Is Roastery Stan Yeoksam Main worth a visit?
Roastery Stan Yeoksam Main had a wide range of coffee options plus a solid dessert and sandwich lineup, giving it plenty of choices as a café near Yeoksam Station. Amenities like takeout, delivery, WiFi, separate men's/women's restrooms, and parking were all clearly noted.
It's a good spot for a quick meetup near Yeoksam Station, or when you're looking for a café to park at and take a break. I couldn't stay long during my short lunch break, but the variety of coffee options and the availability of parking left an impression. Next time, I'd like to pick and try one of their house-roasted coffees, and grab some bungeoppang out front too.
