There's a 24-hour café near Sinnonhyeon I stop by pretty often. It's staffed or unmanned depending on the time, but it's open any hour of the day, which is what I love about it.
There's also a 24-hour unmanned print zone, so it's a great spot to drop by whenever you need to print something, no matter the time.

Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon Branch 24 Auto Brew Cafe runs as a staffed café during the day and switches to an unmanned café from night through early morning — a 24-hour café.
On weekdays it's staffed 08:00–22:00 and unmanned 22:00–08:00; on weekends it's staffed 10:00–21:00 and unmanned 21:00–10:00. From morning to evening it works like any regular café with staff on hand, and late at night it switches over to a self-service system.
It's a good place to grab coffee or a quick sandwich whenever you like, no matter the hour.

The sandwiches look like they're made fresh daily and are pretty popular, so they can sell out. Even if the display case is empty, there's sometimes more stock in the back, so if you're craving a sold-out item during staffed hours, just ask a staff member.

On one side of the café there's a 24-hour unmanned print zone, handy for when you suddenly need to print, copy, or scan something. There are a lot of unmanned cafés these days, but a place that switches between staffed and unmanned by time of day like this seems pretty rare.

Compared to a typical unmanned café, Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon feels much better maintained, and the interior is spacious and comfortable. I often end up with late drinking plans around Sinnonhyeon or Gangnam, and this is a great place to go after the last bus, or to kill time between appointments.
The café has space for groups as well as solo seats.
There's also a breezy terrace, though it's such a popular spot that it always seems to have people in it. There's free wifi too, so it's nice for a bit of laptop work or just to pass the time.
Geisha americano, mocha americano and chicken sandwich
I stopped by to relax with a light snack, so I got a geisha americano, a mocha americano, and a chicken sandwich.
The geisha americano is a coffee that lets you enjoy the aroma of Selecto Coffee's beans fairly cleanly.
The mocha americano adds a touch of sweetness to the americano's bitterness, nice when you want something a bit smoother to drink.
The chicken sandwich I ordered alongside had a pretty generous portion, filling but with a clean aftertaste when eaten with coffee.
They have a variety of desserts too, but the sandwich is so good that I end up ordering it every time I visit.
Pleasant music plays continuously, and people's chatter gets absorbed into it as a decent white noise, good for staying reasonably focused. It's nice to bring a laptop and work, or just to sit quietly and unwind.
