Hair salon near Hapjeong Station in Seoul: high layered cut at Arish

Today I'm bringing you a story about getting a layered cut from team leader Eunha, an extension specialist, at Arish Hapjeong Muse Hair Salon near Hapjeong Station.

Of course I didn't get extensions this time, but when I visited, every single designer was so hip~ and the customers were super hip too~ it was such a hot spot that I'd highly recommend it if you love that Pinterest aesthetic :) I just got a simple layered cut and I was so, so satisfied!

Where is Arish Hapjeong Muse, and is there parking?

Arish Hapjeong Muse Hair Salon is on the 3rd floor of a building about a 5-minute walk from Exit 4 of Hapjeong Station, and it's their newly opened second location. There's 1 free parking spot available in front of the building.

Arish has two branches — the original Hongdae Hapjeong branch and this Hapjeong Muse branch — so make sure to check the location before you go! The one I visited was the second branch, Hapjeong Muse.

Team leader Eunha, an extension and bleaching specialist

Team leader Eunha, who I booked with, specializes in women's extensions, volume extensions, bleaching, and coloring, and has a lot of repeat clients — a solid ⭐️⭐️⭐️ designer~ She was also the most popular on the day I visited! She's off on Saturdays.

There were 4 designers at Arish, and each one seemed to have their own distinct style! Haha.

The popular designers get booked up fast, so check which designer specializes in the style you want~ and definitely book ahead before visiting!

How much do the opening event discounts take off?

Salon atmosphere and waiting area at Arish Hapjeong Muse

The inside of Arish Hapjeong Muse was also super hip! Probably because it was the weekend, but it was packed with people!! There's a separate waiting area, and since it's such a trendy spot, it looked like a lot of influencers come by too haha.

How the high layered cut was done

I just went for a simple cut — soon as I got there, they washed my hair first ~ then started the high layered cut!

They gave me drinks and snacks while my hair was being done haha. They really gave me a lot of snacks,, maybe because it's originally an extension and bleach specialist salon, people tend to be there a long time. The designers were all so kind and so pretty too

They also gave me a little scalp massage during the shampoo — and my hair really did feel better after getting washed at the salon~ It made me think I should come back for a hair clinic and scalp scaling session sometime without a cut haha.

The result: a high layered cut with 5cm off

Since I was already cutting it, I wanted to go a little more~ so I cut about 5cm off! And to make it lighter, they added layers for a high layered cut!! + they also made bangs for me for the first time in a while haha.

At the end, they also gave me a shampoo sample as part of the opening event vV
