Kid-friendly Italian restaurant by Cheonggyecheon: Schedule Osteria
In short
Schedule Osteria is Euljiro's largest Italian restaurant, on the 2nd floor of the iM Financial Center in Jung-gu, Seoul, right in front of Cheonggyecheon stream. On this repeat visit the order was ricotta cheese salad, burrata spaghetti and truffle cheese wheel tagliatelle, the last one tossed in the cheese wheel right at the table. With Youngpoong Bookstore just across the way, Schedule Osteria works well as a weekend outing with a child — and next time the truffle gnocchi comes first.

Today I'm sharing a review of Schedule Osteria, an atmospheric restaurant spot near Jonggak/Cheonggyecheon that I recently visited again! I'd already been not long ago, but the vibe and the food were so good I came back for more. Whenever I come here, there's one thing I always order — the truffle gnocchi!
Whenever the weather's nice, Cheonggyecheon is always the first place that comes to mind. This restaurant sits right in front of the stream, so it's perfect for a walk before or after eating, and with big bookstores like Youngpoong and Kyobo nearby, it's a really great spot for a date course or a weekend outing with kids.

What are the Cheonggyecheon-view seats at Schedule Osteria like?
True to its status as the largest restaurant in Euljiro, the moment you walk into Schedule Osteria, the soaring ceiling and striking sculptural pieces catch your eye.

The interior feels like a slice of Europe transplanted right here, so photos come out great. From the window seats you get a full view of the Jonggak city skyline and Cheonggyecheon stream, and the space is so pleasant that it works equally well for a date with a partner, a family gathering, or even a blind date. GOOD👍

Why the fresh pasta made with Italian flour stands out
Every time I come here I notice how uniquely good the pasta tastes, and it turns out it's because they use Italian Caputo Sacco Rosso flour to make fresh noodles by hand every single day, with no preservatives or additives.
The soft, chewy texture — something you just can't get from dried noodles — blended beautifully with the sauce, giving the pasta a much deeper flavor. The ingredients are top-tier too: Umbrian black truffle, sea urchin, Korean beef, all sourced from the best, so I could eat with real confidence.

The three dishes ordered at Schedule Osteria
Today we ordered three menu items.
- Ricotta cheese salad
- Burrata spaghetti
- Truffle cheese wheel tagliatelle

The pre-meal bread comes out warm and soft. The butter has a truffle aroma too, so good 😋

Ricotta cheese salad
A fresh way to kick off the meal! A salad piled generously with soft, nutty ricotta cheese. The vegetables were wonderfully fresh, so the crisp texture really came through, and the dressing's tang paired with the cheese's nuttiness was enough to properly wake up the appetite. It made a nice light appetizer before diving into the pasta.

Burrata spaghetti
A tomato-based spaghetti topped with a whole round, glossy ball of burrata cheese. Split the cheese open and mix it in with the noodles, and its softness wraps gently around the tomato sauce's acidity, deepening the flavor considerably. It's clean-tasting without getting tiring, the kind of dish pretty much anyone would like.

Truffle cheese wheel tagliatelle, mixed at the table
This is one of Schedule Osteria's other signature dishes! Its biggest draw is the performance that unfolds right in front of you.

They bring the giant cheese wheel right up to your table and toss the warm noodles with the cheese on the spot.
Watching the cheese work its way deep into the noodles inside that massive wheel builds the anticipation before you've even taken a bite! On top of that, the subtle yet rich truffle aroma stimulates all the senses. It's a dish that delivers both visual fun and flavor payoff — full of Instagram appeal.
The honest top pick: truffle gnocchi
The truffle cheese wheel pasta was excellent, but I kept thinking about the 'truffle gnocchi' I had on my last visit! Honestly, I almost ordered it again today too, but since we had dessert plans afterward, we stuck to just three dishes.
The truffle gnocchi here has a texture that's second to none — crisp outside, chewy inside — and it pairs fantastically with the rich truffle cream sauce. If it's your first visit, or if you want to taste the best this place has to offer, I strongly recommend making the 'truffle gnocchi' your top priority. Next time, I'm ordering it first without hesitation! 😍
After the meal: a Cheonggyecheon walk and Youngpoong Bookstore with kids
After finishing the meal, we headed straight to Youngpoong Bookstore right nearby. Having a great meal with my kid and then stopping by the bookstore next door to pick out a book turned out to be a really perfect combination.
Since it's a large bookstore, there's plenty to look at, and the stationery and character goods sections are well stocked, so my kid loved it too. Kyobo Book Centre's Gwanghwamun branch is also close by, so the route of 'Schedule Osteria meal → walk along Cheonggyecheon → browsing Youngpoong/Kyobo Bookstore' comes highly recommended for a weekend family outing or a date course!
