I went out to Seongsu wanting a delicious lunch and stopped by bd Burger Seongsu. Seongsu has so many famous restaurants and cafés, but that day I wanted something a bit different from usual, so I picked a handmade burger. Once I tried it, I understood why it keeps getting mentioned as a top handmade burger spot near Seongsu Station. This is one of my revisit favorites ^^
Where is bd Burger in Seongsu, and what are the hours?

The restaurant is on the 2nd floor of the building, but there's a standing sign on the 1st floor, so it wasn't hard to find even on a first visit. Inside felt clean but still had that casual, hip Seongsu vibe, with 2-person and 4-person tables, so it looked good for a visit with friends or a partner too.

🍔 bd Burger's signature item is, of course, the shrimp burger. bd Burger is especially known for its shrimp burgers made with whole shrimp. Instead of finely ground shrimp meat like a typical shrimp burger, they use plump whole shrimp for texture, so if you like shrimp burgers, choosing between the menu items is part of the fun.

The eggplant fritters and mushroom fritters in particular are side dishes that get mentioned a lot about bd Burger, so I had to order them. If just one burger feels like too little, adding sides to share with others is a good option. The fritters were crispy, and I was genuinely surprised by the mushroom one — the juice was still fully inside, and it was so good. This is a flavor I want to revisit again and again.

How does the grilled whole shrimp burger taste?
It's packed with grilled whole shrimp. That grilled aroma really gets the saliva going. The shrimp is tender and full of life.
Both the eggplant and mushroom really keep their juice intact. However they fry them, the crispness holds even after time passes.
Why bd Burger fits a Seongsu day out, and what about parking?
It's close to Seongsu Station, so accessibility is good, and it's a convenient spot to head from afterward toward Yeonmujang-gil or the Seongsu-dong café street, so it seemed like a good fit for anyone looking for a Seongsu date restaurant. As for parking, on-site parking is difficult, so I'd recommend public transit over driving.
