Where is Galbi Yechan Namyangju Jinjeop Branch, and is there parking?
This post is about Galbi Yechan Namyangju Jinjeop Branch, located near Onam Station on Line 4 :D
It's about a 13-minute walk from Exit 1 of Onam Station. There's also a wide parking area right in front, so it's great for driving in too.

Here's the exterior of Galbi Yechan Namyangju Jinjeop Branch. Just looking at it gives off serious 'good restaurant' vibes — it's a large single-story building. It's right on the main road, so you could probably spot it doing a forward roll.
<Hours> Daily 11:00–21:30 (last order 20:30)

There's plenty of parking right in front of the restaurant, so you don't need to worry about that at all.

There's also a spacious, comfortable waiting room out front. A famous restaurant in Jinjeop, Namyangju having a waiting area this big kind of proves it's a place people line up for.

There's even a waitlist registration kiosk, so that says it all. I visited around 11:30am on a weekday.
Inside the main hall at weekday lunch

Here's the main hall at Galbi Yechan. It felt really clean and pleasant. Even on an early weekday, more people were eating than I expected — a real sign of a genuinely good restaurant in Jinjeop, Namyangju. A little after noon, the main hall was completely full.

The wood-toned tables and interior gave off that classic, quietly elegant yet clean feel of a traditional galbi (grilled ribs) restaurant.

How big are the rooms for company dinners and family gatherings?
Galbi Yechan Namyangju Jinjeop Branch is a perfect spot for company dinners or family gatherings — as a famous restaurant in Jinjeop, Namyangju, it has large group seating well set up by room, so you can enjoy a private meal.

One whole wall is glass, so the space felt open and airy.
Partitions like these are installed so each group can enjoy their meal separately — perfect setup.
Here's the view looking in from inside. Natural light coming through the window gave the space a cozy feel.
This space is also a group seating area divided by partitions. I don't think there's a better place for a company dinner.
Group reservations can be made through Naver Reservation or by phone, so I'd recommend using that :D (Since Naver Reservation can lead to duplicate bookings, a confirmation call afterward is a must!)
Here's the view looking from inside toward the window. It seems they leave it open like this when there's no reservation.
Back to the main hall space. The high ceiling and the floor-to-ceiling window on one side give it a nice sense of openness.
Self-serve side dish corner: take as much as you like
There's also a self-serve corner, and what stood out most was that every side dish container had a lid, giving a real sense that it's kept clean.
You can take as much as you like of the side dishes, onions, lettuce, and more — love that.
The group room that seats up to 44
This is basically the final boss of group seating. Galbi Yechan Namyangju Jinjeop Branch has a fully equipped group room that can hold up to 44 people.
The group tables are all set up in one space, and the scale looked like it could handle the headcount of a decent-sized company all at once.

Here's the main hall just after 12pm, completely packed. It really felt like this place has established itself as a go-to restaurant in Jinjeop, Namyangju.

The restrooms are near the entrance. Men's and women's are separate, and they're clean.
The 2+1 seasoned pork rib deal and the full bill
Let me show you the menu.
Galbi Yechan has a special promotion running: if you order according to your headcount, ordering 2 servings of meat gets you 1 more free. Order 4 servings and you get +2 free!! So 6 servings total end up on the table.
We ordered through the kiosk set up at each table :D
- Seasoned pork ribs, 2 servings (+1 free) ₩40,000
- Naengmyeon (large) ₩13,000
- 2 bowls of rice ₩2,000
- Zero-sugar cola x1 ₩2,000
- Total ₩57,000

A generous spread arrived.

Each serving of seasoned pork is 250g, boneless — pure meat, so each piece was really big.
Even after piling this all up, one whole chunk of seasoned pork was left over — such a satisfying, filling feeling.
Which side dishes come with the meal?
Galbi Yechan isn't just about the meat — the side dishes are genuinely delicious too.
My beloved seasoned marinated crab. You could really tell right away that Galbi Yechan knows how to season things well. I dug into the marinated crab so enthusiastically that I actually startled myself looking in a mirror later, haha.
The pickled garlic scapes go really well with the meat too. Between bites of meat, it cleanses your palate perfectly, and somehow that makes you keep eating more meat — pure magic.
The kimchi is domestic Taebaek kimchi, with a nice refreshing flavor and just the right fermentation level to be delicious even with plain rice.
Lotus root with a refreshing hint of yuzu (citron). The color was so pretty, and it tasted great too.

Sliced onions, salad, and dressed lettuce were also served, so there were plenty of vegetable side dishes overall, which made eating meat feel less heavy.
The onion pickle dipping sauce was set out too, so you could have as much as you like.
The rice bowl, packed in tight — pure love.♥

When ordering cola, there was a note saying you could ask for an ice cup if you wanted one?!

They gave us a dedicated ice cup along with the drink, so we got to enjoy it nice and cold too. Owner, you're the best..
How the charcoal-grilled pork ribs and barley doenjang taste
Meat and ssamjang (dipping sauce) is an unbeatable combo, but Galbi Yechan has a special pairing of its own.
This barley doenjang (fermented soybean paste) right here. The distinctive texture and savory depth of the barley paired really well with the meat.

The meat cooking away deliciously over the charcoal.

Look at that color,, the pork ribs had no gamey smell and were tender. The seasoning itself was so good that I could keep eating happily all the way through.

There was a separate resting rack to set finished meat on, which was really convenient.
A staff member checked on the grill plate and swapped it for a fresh one, and the staff were so kind that it made the meal even more pleasant :D
The last remaining chunk gets put on too.
The size of the meat is seriously huge.
Garlic goes on too — round two begins.

Pork ribs cooking away nicely. Looking at these photos again makes me want to eat it all over again.
No two lettuce wraps are ever the same, so I wrapped them up carefully and ate every one.
Finishing with a large mul-naengmyeon
We also ordered mul-naengmyeon (cold noodle soup). We got the large size, so the portion was massive. It came with a light icy slush on top, in a Hamhung-style naengmyeon that paired really well with the meat.
Even when full, you can't resist the mul-naengmyeon plus pork rib combo. It goes down like dessert. Finishing with naengmyeon was such a satisfying way to end the meal.

Besides the meat menu, Galbi Yechan Namyangju Jinjeop Branch also offers various meal options like hanwoo beef soup, galbitang, and beef brisket doenjang jjigae. Plenty of people were also going for meal items like hanwoo beef soup, ttukbul, and doenjang jjigae. It seems like a great choice for a hearty, satisfying meal too :D

A thoughtful touch: a toothpick dispenser and dental floss are provided too. Overall it really felt like a lot of care went into hygiene, which made me trust the place even more.

There's even after-meal coffee, which would feel incomplete without, plus a thoughtfully placed deodorizer.
Galbi Yechan is both delicious and generous with portions. The staff were also so kind that it made the meal even more enjoyable. With a group room that fits up to 44 people, it's an ideal spot for a company dinner too.
