Where is Deundeun, the 24-hour gukbap restaurant near Seonyudo Station?

Deundeun Haejanggukbap is a 24-hour gukbap restaurant at 105 Yangpyeong-ro, 1F, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul. Being open around the clock, it seemed to draw a lot of solo office workers at lunch, and plenty of solo diners in the evening too, casually enjoying a bowl of gukbap with a shot of soju.

If you're looking for a solo-dining spot near Dangsan or Seonyudo Station, I'd genuinely recommend this place. With so many solo diners around, the atmosphere felt relaxed and free of any self-consciousness.

The tables were spaced generously too, so I could eat comfortably without worrying about the next table, and with the lights on 24 hours a day, it's easy to spot even late at night.
Pork gukbap or gointol galbitang — which bowl was better?

We ordered one bowl of pork gukbap and one bowl of gointol galbitang (rib soup). Pork gukbap is the signature dish here, but I was craving a hearty rib soup for once, so I ordered the galbitang — honestly almost by accident since we'd really come for the pork gukbap, so I didn't expect much.

But one spoonful completely changed my mind. The broth was clean, and mixing in the scallions and meat with rice made it absolutely incredible.

It wasn't greasy at all — light and clean, the kind of broth you keep spooning up — and the meat was tender and well-cooked. My boyfriend took one bite and kept saying how genuinely delicious it was.

📍 TIP: If you're ever tired of the usual pork gukbap, I'd really recommend giving the gointol galbitang a try.
Free steamed blood sausage and the self-serve side dish bar at Deundeun

One of the best things about Deundeun Haejanggukbap is that you can eat steamed blood sausage (sundae) for free. You can help yourself to as much as you like, so I kept going back for refills without hesitation — the sundae was so soft and tasty that I was already full before the gukbap even arrived.

There was none of the usual strong smell that sundae can have, so it was plenty good even without the dipping sauce.

The side dishes were also self-serve, so even dining solo, you could help yourself to exactly as much as you needed without feeling awkward.
Verdict: a Seonyudo Station gukbap restaurant you can visit at any hour

In short, Deundeun Haejanggukbap is a solid gukbap restaurant near Seonyudo Station where both the pork gukbap and galbitang deliver, plus you get free steamed blood sausage and a self-serve side dish bar. Being open 24 hours is a huge plus too — you can drop by for lunch, dinner, or late at night, whenever works.

We came for the pork gukbap and left thoroughly satisfied with the galbitang too — I think it'll naturally come to mind again next time.
