A neat dessert shop on the first floor of Jeju Shilla Duty Free Shop
As soon as I stepped into Today Jeju Shilla Duty Free Shop Jeju Branch, its clean, modern atmosphere was the first thing that caught my eye.

It is right on the first floor of the duty-free shop, so it was very easy to find. The circular layout was nicely organized too, making it comfortable to browse around.
The display shelves were lined with neatly packaged gift boxes, which made browsing fun.

Without overly elaborate décor, the whole space felt simple and spotless—just perfect for buying dessert gifts.
The Hareubangne 8-flavor gift set

What I chose this time was the adorable Hareubangne 8-flavor gift set, a Jeju dessert shaped like hareubang (dol hareubang, Jeju’s stone grandfather statues) that instantly made me smile.

The moment I opened the box, I was delighted by the colorful little madeleines that looked just like dol hareubang statues. The box was so neatly and thoughtfully prepared for gifting that I thought it would be perfect for family or friends on the way home after a Jeju trip.

The eight-piece set has several flavors inspired by Jeju specialties, so choosing which one to eat was part of the fun. Each variety had its own aroma and color, and every bite felt new.

The texture was impressive from the first bite. The outside was pleasantly firm, while the inside was soft and very moist rather than dry. A refined buttery flavor gently spread through my mouth, followed by a lovely nutty richness. It was not overly sweet, so I could enjoy it easily and cleanly.

The Jeju tangerine and Hallabong flavors were sweet and tangy, really waking up my palate. The Udo peanut and green tea varieties had a great balance of nutty richness and gentle bitterness. The original butter flavor had the deep, savory richness of a classic dessert.

Having them with a cup of coffee or warm tea brought out the dessert flavors even more. Since they were not too sweet, I liked that they seemed like something anyone, young or old, could enjoy without much hesitation. It was a Jeju dessert gift set where I could feel the care in every piece, and I was happy with it from start to finish.
With an adorable hareubang shape and a range of flavors, it is the perfect Jeju gift for sharing your feelings without fuss.
Free dedicated parking
The building has dedicated parking, so it was convenient to visit by car. I could park comfortably instead of anxiously leaving my car by the roadside, then head straight into the shop. The parking area was relatively spacious too, so even new drivers can use it without worry.
Why I chose it as a Jeju travel gift
Its location on the first floor of Shilla Duty Free Shop Jeju Branch makes it easy to reach, and the packaging and product quality were excellent, making it a wonderful travel-gift choice. The Hareubangne 8-flavor gift set gets both the looks and the taste right, and it is a thoughtful dessert that is sure to make the recipient happy. I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a distinctive, neatly presented Jeju souvenir or gift.
