Hongrad Mangpo Station Branch is on the 4th floor of the building, and there's an elevator, so it was easy to get there. Right when you step off the elevator, a cute photo zone welcomes you ><

Inside Hongrad: atmosphere and seating
The café was much bigger and more comfortable than I expected! Both sides are lined with floor-to-ceiling windows, so sunlight pours in and the whole atmosphere felt great. There are tons of seats too, and most of the chairs are cushy sofa seats, so it was really comfortable to sit for a long time.

Window-facing solo seats with outlets and lamps
There were also plenty of solo seats facing the big windows. Each table even had its own outlet and lamp, which was perfect for laptop work! It's the kind of relaxed atmosphere where you can stay for a long time without feeling rushed, so I especially recommend it to anyone looking for a place to study or read near Mangpo Station. Laptop workers, this is the spot!

Self-serve bar: blankets, wet wipes, hand cream and chargers
The self-serve bar has everything — blankets, wet wipes, hand cream, and even chargers. The owner's thoughtfulness really shows throughout the space.

In one corner they were also selling cute little items — keyrings, stickers, rings, buttons and more. It was fun to browse while waiting for the drinks.

And especially — if you leave a Naver visit review, the staff give out pin badges of the dogs and cats they're raising!! You always want to show off your baby, and getting to do that with a badge for so many people to see — this is what real welfare looks like.
Hongrad's menu board and what we ordered
Here's Hongrad's menu board. There were so many options I spent a while deciding. Note that if you visit between 10:00–11:30 in the morning, there's a discount on the kaya toast + Americano set! Here's what we ordered.

- Omija tea (five-flavor berry tea) ₩5,500
- Bear-latte einspänner ₩6,500
- Hongrad toast ₩7,000
How the Hongrad drinks and toast tasted

Our order arrived — and honestly, I was floored by how cute it all looked!
Bear einspänner, 6,500 won

The bear-latte einspänner comes with a cat drawn on top of the cream in chocolate syrup, and the cream is the real highlight!!! It's really thick and sweet — genuinely delicious cream. Sometimes einspänners have runny, thin cream, but Hongrad's was nice and dense, high-viscosity cream, which I personally loved. The coffee itself has a gentle acidity that pairs harmoniously with the sweet, rich cream. Hongrad is honestly great for einspänners — if you like einspänners, you have to order this one.
Omija tea (five-flavor berry tea), 5,500 won

The omija tea had that proper sweet-and-tangy flavor and was refreshingly cold. Note: it's not a carbonated ade! There's no trace of the astringent bitterness omija sometimes has — it's clean, sweet, and sour, so it's the kind of drink almost anyone would enjoy.
Hongrad toast (injeolmi rice cake toast), 7,000 won

The Hongrad toast is an injeolmi (sweet rice cake) toast!! It's a nutty, sweet combination of soybean powder, vanilla ice cream, red bean, and almonds. Honestly, I was surprised at how high-quality it was — it's not thin regular toast, but thick slices of bread with injeolmi rice cake and spread layered in between. Chewy and sweet, it was genuinely delicious. I especially liked that it wasn't overly sweet, just nutty, so it was an easy dessert to enjoy without feeling heavy.
