Songdo sushi restaurant for a family of four with ankimo: Sushi Doku
In short
Sushi Doku The Songdo is a sushi restaurant on the 2nd floor of Onesta Mall in Songdo, Yeonsu, Incheon, right beside Songhyeona. A family who has lived in Songdo for 10 years came back for the Nth time and ordered the premium sushi set at 25,900 won and the kids' set at 9,900 won, finishing the ankimo (monkfish liver) and sweet shrimp sushi plus a bowl of springy udon down to the broth. Tables at Sushi Doku The Songdo sit far apart, which makes it an easy pick for a family meal out with children.

Inside Sushi Doku The Songdo: wide gaps between tables
Sushi Doku The Songdo has tables in the main hall, and further inside there are somewhat (?) private tables. What all of them have in common is generous spacing between tables, making for a comfortable meal out.
What comes with the 25,900-won premium sushi set
Premium sushi set (₩25,900)

This is why my husband and I love Sushi Doku The Songdo. The food comes out on a clean, elegant, neatly arranged spread, making it feel like a special meal out where you're treated well.

And here's why our kids, the Ri siblings, love Sushi Doku The Songdo. The base set comes with egg, fried tofu and shrimp sushi, plus pork cutlet, fried shrimp, and cute smiley-face fries — a lineup that's exactly what kids love. In short, for ₩9,900, it's incredible value!

So it's a full spread filled with exactly the dishes my husband and I, and our kids, the Ri siblings, all love.

It's plated as a neat, elegant spread, so it's great for gatherings like ours, dates, or even business meetings. Also, with a solid sushi lineup and

the sushi uses fresh raw fish, so you get to enjoy genuinely fresh sushi.

Ankimo (monkfish liver) and sweet shrimp sushi
There's also ankimo (monkfish liver) and sweet shrimp sushi, both of which I love, rounding out an even more perfect meal. Incheon Songdo favorite 'Sushi Doku The Songdo' uses a wide variety of ingredients for its sushi, which makes eating there genuinely fun.

The best bite of all: springy udon
And now, the specialty of specialties at Sushi Doku The Songdo. The tempura is crispy, of course, but this udon is a real standout. Every time we visit, they keep the noodles perfectly chewy. With that chewy texture and a deep udon broth, even though we're already full from sushi, we always end up slurping down every last bit of the broth. This time was no exception — we finished the broth completely.

How the kids reacted
Ria, our daughter who's growing fast lately and eats a ton, opened her mouth as wide as she possibly could — that's how good it was. I honestly can't even tell how delicious it was to her, haha, that's how into it she was.

And Rihwan, exhausted from soccer practice ahead of an upcoming tournament, had his eyes light up too — he snapped his eyes wide open and gave a big thumbs up.
When is a good day to visit Sushi Doku The Songdo?
Because Sushi Doku The Songdo serves everything on a neat, elegant spread, you get that treated-well feeling, and the wide table spacing makes for a comfortable meal out — so I'd recommend it for family dinners, dates, or work gatherings. It also has a great-value kids' set packed with dishes kids love, so if you're looking for a place to eat out with children like I was, I'd recommend it even more.
