Eating out with my 7-year-old, getting her to sit still through a meal is no small task. This time we went to Jurarium and finally checked out a place I'd been eyeing.

Hanmaeum Jeongyuk Sikdang Hanam Misa Branch has a kids' zone set up for children. We visited as a family of three — my husband, our 7-year-old, and me.

The moment we walked in, my kid spotted the playroom at the back of the restaurant and just took off running. We came to eat, but she was already having the time of her life, haha.

Reviews I'd read beforehand also mentioned the spacious kids' room, play equipment, and high chairs, and it all checked out.

We ordered the whole pork platter (돼지한마리) for 79,000 won that day. My husband hadn't eaten lunch and was planning to eat a lot, so we went with the whole-pig option.

When the food came out, it was so much that we wondered, "Can we actually finish all this?" It wasn't just meat — there was a wide variety of side dishes too, and since the doenjang jjigae was unlimited, we kept refilling it alongside the meat.

On top of that, a whole grilled mackerel came out too, making the table quite full.

We went out for BBQ and ended up with grilled fish as well, which made it easy to feed our daughter something else besides meat.

The reviews I'd referenced also mentioned that unlimited doenjang jjigae refills and grilled mackerel come standard. For our family, the amount of meat was more than enough, and with all the side dishes mixed in, we ended up pretty full.

So if you're looking for a BBQ restaurant in Misa that both kids and adults can enjoy, I think this kind of setup is pretty practical.

Parking, the dining room, and walking over from Jurarium

Hanmaeum Jeongyuk Sikdang Hanam Misa Branch is on the 3rd floor of the same building as Jurarium, and the underground parking made it easy to get to. Honestly, when you're picking a restaurant with kids, taste alone doesn't cut it.

You end up checking whether parking is convenient, whether the place is too cramped, and whether you'll feel self-conscious having a kid around.

Going in person, the restaurant had plenty of room, so eating as a family felt comfortable — our daughter had a blast in the playroom while we ate, and everyone was happy. That day in particular, the location was great, the meat was tasty, the portions were generous, and the service was smooth, so overall it was a satisfying meal.

If you're visiting Jurarium with kids and looking for somewhere to eat afterward, the location is worth remembering. If I'm ever back at Jurarium, I'd stop by again.
