Ten shrimp jang sushi before closing at Chuncheon sushi buffet: QooQoo

This time I went to enjoy the all-you-can-eat buffet at <QooQoo Chuncheon Branch> with a close friend of mine!!

This is somewhere I'd really always wanted to go, and I finally made it happen ㅜㅜ❤️ It blew right past my expectations honestly.. The staff were so kind, everything was managed so cleanly, and above all it was genuinely dellllicious 🤤❤️ There's really no reason not to go.. Here's my glowing review of QooQoo Chuncheon Branch, let's get into it~

Where is QooQoo Chuncheon Branch, and how do you find the entrance?

QooQoo Chuncheon Branch is on the basement level of the building on Jiseok-ro in Chuncheon that has the CGV theater in it. The sign is big so it's easy to find.

Is there a wait at QooQoo Chuncheon Branch after 7pm?

We visited QooQoo Chuncheon Branch after 7pm and there was no wait at all. Even though it was a bit late, there were still a ton of people.

The moment you walk in, a pretty large QooQoo space greets you lol. I couldn't fit it all in photos, but there are a lot of seats even in the areas you can't see in the back!!

The kids' play area was also decently sized, with kids having a great time playing there. Seems like a good buffet to visit with children too! There are baby chairs and aprons available if you need them~

Using the hand sanitizer before eating is a good idea too haha

What's on the hot line: sushi, seafood and pizza

We got to try everything from sushi to the salad bar, mala xiangguo, pasta and more. But when it comes to QooQoo, sushi is the first thing you have to check out!! There were so many kinds of sushi and rolls, I stood there thinking hard about what to try first..

Isn't the visual amazing ㄷㄷ From all kinds of sushi to seasoned crab, soy sauce shrimp, octopus — we got to enjoy such a full spread~~ And honestly, every single piece of seafood was delicious, nothing fell short.. Looking at these photos makes me want to go back again ㅠㅠ

The garlic butter shrimp was super popular too, but it kept getting refilled quickly so we could get a full plate whenever we wanted, so good good

This one looks like kebab I think..! I honestly haven't tried it so I don't know much about this dish, but the rotating thing looked so cool I took a photo lol. Since the staff keep walking around checking on things, you could call one over and ask to try a piece

Because of the filter and lighting it looks a bit burnt black, but it was actually cooked to just the right level. This was tasty too bb

The pizzas came out in just the right size to eat easily too~~

Started round one of the food fight with a bowl of miso soup on the side haha

What to order first: shrimp jang sushi and garlic butter shrimp

The best thing I ate at QooQoo Chuncheon Branch was the shrimp jang sushi (marinated raw shrimp sushi). Even though salmon sushi is my all-time favorite, I still ate more than ten pieces of shrimp jang sushi.

Everything was so good, but the shrimp jang sushi.. this one was the best. It's genuinely a scary good little friend.. Not that the salmon sushi wasn't great though.. the salmon in the salmon sushi melts in your mouth, seriously delicious, highly recommend bb

The garlic butter shrimp was also the best, there's a reason it's popular.. I'm bad at peeling shrimp but I kept eating them because they were so good, and our meal ended up taking way too long ㅠ Go practice your shrimp-peeling skills before you come lol

The dessert bar: 8 kinds of ice cream and marble ice cream

When you think QooQoo.. you think dessert!! 8 types of ice cream plus marble ice cream, fresh sweet fruit and pudding, cake, made-to-order waffles and bingsu, slushies, bubble tea, cocoa, bread, chocolate fountain, marshmallows.. and even coffee to cleanse the sweetness off your palate! This place really has everything (is this heaven..). You get your money's worth from dessert alone, the best!!

I love marble ice cream so much I piled a whole bingsu bowl full of it lol (finished it all)

After eating and chatting for a while, closing time was already almost here, so we hurried out. It was a happy, very full meal~~~

Is QooQoo Chuncheon Branch worth it? Final verdict

Overall, QooQoo Chuncheon Branch was the best buffet in Chuncheon for when you want to pick and choose from all kinds of dishes, or when you're craving good sushi. From sushi and rolls to hot dishes and dessert, it's great for eating a really full, satisfying meal!! Especially if you're visiting with young kids, having a play area is a pretty big plus~~ Also a great recommendation as a spot for family gatherings haha
