Last time, my husband and I came to Dolsoe Ssambap, a great spot in Misa, and loved the spicy pork ssambap so much~ We were like, let's come here again!!! So we finally came back after a while. Even just looking at the photos, it is such a generous spread with so many side dishes, right? And since it is a ssambap restaurant that gives you loads of vegetables, you can really have a healthy meal.
Dolsoe Ssambap location and parking

Dolsoe Ssambap, a lunch spot and popular restaurant in Misa, Hanam, is on the second floor of Misa Hyundai Cluster 3. Enter Building A and head up to the second floor. When I got off the elevator, the entrance was immediately on the right, so it was easy to find. If you take the escalator, turn around after getting off and walk straight ahead to reach the restaurant.

The building has a spacious parking lot, so it was convenient to come by car. They provide two hours of free parking, so we could take our time over the meal.

The restaurant is also very spacious and clean. It would be great for an evening get-together in Misa.

The kitchen is open, so you can clearly see everyone at work. There was an explanation of the origin of the name Dolsoe Ssambap, and I said I would love to have someone like Dolsoe at home too, hahaha.

Dolsoe Ssambap also clearly explains all 12 kinds of wrap vegetables. With prices ranging from ₩14,000 to ₩16,000, it does not feel burdensome either.

This time, my husband said he wanted spicy stir-fried octopus, so we ordered it.

Not long after we ordered, side dishes came out until the table was completely full. The ones I especially enjoyed were the salad with black sesame sauce, seasoned eggplant, and stir-fried seaweed stems.

12 kinds of wrap vegetables + 12 side dishes + steamed egg + doenjang-jjigae (soybean paste stew) + vegetable ssamjang (seasoned soybean paste dipping sauce) + earthenware-pot ssamjang. You know how long it would take to make all this at home, right? Haha.

I especially loved that there were not just one or two kinds of wrap vegetables, but 12 different kinds. There was lettuce and perilla leaf, of course, plus blanched cabbage, kelp, kale, red chard, Korean angelica, and more, haha.
There was a reason the spicy stir-fried octopus is so popular. My pick is the spicy stir-fried pork, but my husband said the octopus was much tastier. Enjoy whichever suits your taste. Both are delicious, though!!!
How spicy is the plump stir-fried octopus?

The main menu at Dolsoe Ssambap this time was spicy stir-fried octopus. My husband really wanted it, so we ordered it, and it was deliciously spicy. We are both weak with spicy food, so we ate it going heh-heh~ It is on the spicy side, haha, but it is not too salty or sweet and tastes great. The seasoning had soaked right into the octopus too. The octopus was not tough; it was tender while still having that lovely chewy texture, so good.

It was also packed with vegetables like onion, carrot, and cabbage.

The octopus is delicious on its own, but it is also so good wrapped in vegetables with rice and spicy octopus, haha.

The doenjang-jjigae was not salty and was so delicious... They give you a bowl of rice too—such a generous deal.

They even give you two kinds of ssamjang, haha. I was touched.

I kept reaching for the soft steamed egg too. It would be a nice place to feed a child if you bring one along.
All this for ₩16,000 per person

As expected, Dolsoe Ssambap is really great value. Spicy stir-fried octopus with all this for ₩16,000 per person! Above all, the side dishes and vegetables were all incredibly fresh and tasty!!

The spicy octopus ssambap was another success. Next time I visit, I want to try another dish too—maybe the pork ribs? If you are looking for a good lunch spot in Misa or want a filling dinner, and ssambap is on your mind, I would recommend it. Eating a balanced variety of vegetables and side dishes made it easy to digest, and with a tasty main dish too, it really felt like a proper meal!!
