Galbi restaurant in Misa, Hanam with playroom CCTV at your table
In short
Hanmaeum Jeongyuk Sikdang Hanam Misa Branch is a Korean BBQ and galbi restaurant on the 3rd floor of the Misa Obelisk mall in Hanam, Gyeonggi. Visiting with two children, the writer ordered the stone-plate soseok galbi (short ribs), which arrived already grilled, so neither parent had to tend the meat, while the kids' playroom CCTV on the table order pad made it easy to watch the children from the table. With a wide kids' play area, baby chairs and baby dishware, unlimited doenjang jjigae (soybean paste stew) and grilled mackerel among the standard side dishes, Hanmaeum Jeongyuk Sikdang is a Misa meat restaurant the family already plans to revisit with the kids.

When you go out for BBQ with kids, taste matters, but honestly, how comfortable the whole experience is matters just as much these days. Hanmaeum Jeongyuk Sikdang Hanam Misa Branch really won me over on that front.

It's located in the Misa Obelisk mall, parking is easy, there's a kids' play area, they have baby chairs and dishware, and the meat even comes already grilled!
To cut to the chase, our family is definitely planning a repeat visit! I'd really recommend this to anyone looking for a Misa BBQ spot they can comfortably enjoy with kids. :)
Where is Hanmaeum Jeongyuk Sikdang Hanam Misa Branch, and where do you park?
Hanmaeum Jeongyuk Sikdang Hanam Misa Branch is located in the Misa Obelisk mall. The underground parking is well set up, so it was convenient to visit by car too.

What I appreciated most was how carefully they guided us to the restaurant, so we didn't get lost on the way. Wandering around trying to find a restaurant while dragging kids along is a whole ordeal in itself, so having it be easy from the start was great, haha. The exterior looked classier than I expected too! And once you step inside, the view is amazing.

The space itself is spacious and clean, so it's great for a family meal, and there are also separate rooms, which looked good for group meals or family gatherings with several people.

The kids' play area and the playroom CCTV on the order pad
There was one main reason I chose Hanmaeum Jeongyuk Sikdang Hanam Misa Branch: it's a genuinely kid-friendly BBQ restaurant. Just look at the kids' play area.

Wow, this is honestly close to the best in-restaurant play area I've been to. It's fairly large in scale and the facilities are really clean. I expected a small play corner tacked onto the restaurant, but the space was set up well enough for kids to really play. Our daughters were obviously thrilled, haha. What was even better from a parent's perspective was that you can check the play area's CCTV feed right from the order pad on the table!

Instead of constantly getting up to check on the kids while they play, you can just glance at the screen from your seat, which made for a much more relaxed meal. Little details like this earn serious points as a Misa BBQ spot to visit with kids.
Baby chairs, baby dishware and the standard table setting
Hanmaeum Jeongyuk Sikdang Hanam Misa Branch has both a baby chair and baby dishware ready. That's yet another reason it's great to visit with kids.

When you're eating out with two kids, every little thing like this matters. The seats were also spacious and the whole place was clean, so it was comfortable for the family to sit and eat together. And when the basic table setting came out... it was seriously generous!

A variety of side dishes came out that pair well with the meat, and what I especially liked was the unlimited doenjang jjigae (soybean paste stew)! It's a letdown when there's no hot doenjang jjigae with BBQ, so being able to get more when you run out was great.
Stone-plate soseok galbi arrives already grilled
That day we ordered the stone-plate soseok galbi (short ribs). And the best part of this dish: the meat comes already grilled.
When you go to a BBQ place with kids, one person is usually busy grilling the whole time, and by the time you've tended to the kids, the meat's burned... and sometimes the parents barely get to eat properly.

But when it comes out ready to eat from the start, it's incredibly convenient. The soseok galbi was piled generously on the stone plate — the portion looked plenty, right? It comes out on a warm stone plate, so it stays enjoyable throughout the meal, and best of all, parents don't have to worry about grilling and can eat together while taking care of the kids. This is exactly why I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a Misa BBQ spot to visit with kids.
Grilled mackerel as a standard side dish
There was one more menu item that was a real welcome sight when visiting with kids.

Order the BBQ and grilled mackerel also comes as a basic side dish! Any family with kids will be happy about this, haha. Some days kids eat meat well, but other days, depending on their mood, they don't touch it. But with grilled mackerel also on the table, it's much easier to get a proper meal into them. Rice with soseok galbi, mackerel picked apart for them, plus doenjang jjigae — the kids' whole meal is sorted right here!

The kids finish eating and head straight back to the play area, while the parents get to enjoy a bit more relaxed BBQ in the meantime, haha.
Private rooms, dessert cookies and free coffee
The restaurant also has separate rooms, which looked good for family gatherings with grandparents or for multiple families with kids eating together. The seating itself is spacious and clean, so it also looked comfortable for group visits.

After finishing our meal full, on the way out there were dessert snacks and a coffee machine ready. Having a coffee right after BBQ feels like the perfect finishing touch. The kids played to their heart's content, ate a full meal, and the parents even got coffee! It felt like a family dining course fully thought through from start to finish.
Why Hanmaeum Jeongyuk Sikdang works as a Misa meat restaurant with kids
This first visit to Hanmaeum Jeongyuk Sikdang Hanam Misa Branch left me most impressed not just by the meat, but by how genuinely comfortable it was to eat out with kids.
- A spacious, clean kids' play area with CCTV viewable on the order pad
- Baby chair and baby dishware ready
- A generous basic table setting, unlimited doenjang jjigae, and grilled mackerel as a side dish
- Stone-plate soseok galbi comes already grilled, so parents can eat comfortably too
- Snacks and a coffee machine after the meal
As someone taking two kids to a BBQ restaurant, having the meat come pre-grilled was genuinely a huge plus. Finishing off with snacks and coffee afterward made it all the more satisfying! If you're looking for a Misa BBQ spot to visit with kids, I'd recommend Hanmaeum Jeongyuk Sikdang Hanam Misa Branch.
We're definitely planning a repeat visit! Next time too, the kids can play happily while we relax and enjoy the soseok galbi. :)
