Inside Low & Sweet Bakery: the open bar and white-toned room
Right next to Low & Sweet Bakery's bread display case is an open bar. Watching the drinks get made right in front of you feels trustworthy, and it's fun to watch too.

The space itself is cozy and warm. It's mostly a clean white-tone base with lush green plants scattered around, giving it a charming, almost overseas feel.

Are pets allowed at Low & Sweet Bakery, and is it good for dates or solo visits?
Low & Sweet Bakery allows pets, so it seems like a good option for people visiting Haeri-dan-gil with their dogs. The back entrance has a white exterior with a checked awning as its standout feature, giving it a cute, charming look. The space itself isn't huge, but the seating is well arranged, and it works well for a date or a solo café visit.

The moment I stepped inside, the subtle, savory smell of bread drifted over and made me smile.

What breads are on offer and when does each batch come out?
Low & Sweet Bakery had a really wide variety of bread — everything from cookies, madeleines, egg tarts, and financiers, to freshly oven-baked loaves.

On the left wall, there's a schedule listing when each bakery item comes out of the oven, so if there's something specific you're craving, it's worth checking the timing before you go.

Here's the menu board for reference. I ordered a chocolate financier, an egg tart, a lemon madeleine, and a cortado.

How did the chocolate financier, egg tart and lemon madeleine taste?
The three baked treats I picked at Low & Sweet Bakery were the chocolate financier, egg tart, and lemon madeleine. They looked so tempting just sitting in the display case.
The chocolate financier had a slightly chewy, moist texture in the first bite, and the sweetness of the chocolate wasn't overpowering, which I liked. The egg tart had a crisp, savory pastry crust on the outside with a soft filling inside — really good. The lemon madeleine was quietly charming. It had a soft, fluffy texture with a fresh hit of lemon that worked really well.
Unfortunately I was in a rush, so I got everything to go — but they packed it nicely into a bag. I'd still recommend eating in-store if you can.

What was the cortado at Low & Sweet Bakery like?
The cortado I ordered alongside the pastries is a small, strong milk coffee popular in New York, made with equal parts espresso and milk. With strong espresso blended with milk, it had a richer coffee flavor than a regular latte.
Compared to a latte, the coffee flavor was a bit more distinct, while still being smoother to drink than a straight espresso — quite an appealing balance.
