Steak restaurant in Misari, Hanam for kids: well-done set, Bokkeriu
In short
Bokkeriu is a Western restaurant on Misa-dong-ro in Hanam, Gyeonggi, newly opened in the former Truenang space. The writer visited with family and ordered the steak set for two (118,000 won), which brought 200g of Korean beef strip loin cooked well-done, handmade jambon-beurre pasta and homemade cheesecake as a full course. The calm, unhurried room made dining with a child easy, so Bokkeriu suits anniversaries, weekend family meals and dates alike.

It had been a while since I wanted to have a meal with family somewhere with a nice atmosphere, so I visited Bokkeriu (보께리우), a restaurant in Hanam.
I'd heard it was a good spot to visit for anything from brunch to dinner, anniversaries, or weekend family outings, so I was curious. This time, I decided to order the steak set my kid loves and enjoy a relaxed meal.
Where is Bokkeriu in Hanam, and what are the hours?
Bokkeriu is located at 102-19 Misa-dong-ro, Hanam-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. It's open daily from 11:30 to 22:00.
- Hours (daily): 11:30–22:00

- Last order: 14:00, 20:30

Bokkeriu's exterior and parking
Bokkeriu is a new restaurant that opened in the space formerly occupied by Truenang.
Overall it feels more like an atmospheric restaurant than an ordinary eatery, making it a good place to visit when you want to enjoy the meal itself a bit more leisurely.

There's also plenty of parking space, so it's convenient to visit by car. It's a good fit for anyone driving out to the Misari area in Hanam and looking for a place to eat.
What is the atmosphere like inside Bokkeriu?
What I liked most about Bokkeriu was the atmosphere that lets you focus on the meal.

The overall calm, clean atmosphere gives the impression of a restaurant better suited for spending time on a special day than for a quick casual meal.

It has an open kitchen, so you can watch the cooking process.

It's a good spot for a quick brunch, and just as fitting for a dinner with a glass of wine. If you visit on a date, you can enjoy the space itself along with the food.

It's also a good place for a weekend family meal or an important meeting, and it suits a slightly special occasion, like an anniversary, just as well. The vibe isn't too casual, but it isn't stuffily formal either, so it was comfortable to dine there.
Bokkeriu's menu lineup

Bokkeriu offers a wide range of menu items from brunch to dinner. You can choose depending on your purpose, from salads to steak, whether you want a light brunch or a proper full meal.
What we ordered: the steak set for two, 118,000 won
I chose the steak set for two (₩118,000). It's a full-course setup centered on steak, with soup, salad, pasta, and drink and dessert included, so instead of ordering multiple items separately, it was easy to just pick this.
- For pasta, I chose the handmade jambon pasta
- For drink, I chose zero-sugar cola
What makes Bokkeriu different

Bokkeriu is a restaurant reborn from the former Truenang. What stands out is that it's transformed into a space with more of a Han River view and a stronger focus on the dining experience.
I also liked that it's a place you can visit for many purposes — brunch, dinner, anniversaries, weekend family meals, or even important meetings. If you're looking for an atmospheric dining spot around Misari, it's a great place to pair with a date course.
An honest taste review of the Bokkeriu steak set

Starter bread: sourdough
Crisp and nutty on the outside, plain but moist inside. It's lightly drizzled with olive oil.
Paired with the butter served alongside, the flavor became even richer and smoother.

Potato cream soup
A soup with the cozy flavor of potato combined with the smoothness of cream.
Rather than being thick and heavy, it went down smoothly with a nutty, mild flavor, making it easy to enjoy before the main course.

Chef's choice half salad
Fresh vegetables with nuts and croutons added for a fun crunchy, crispy texture.

The sweet-and-tangy balsamic sauce and soft cheese combined to perfectly whet the appetite.

Handmade jambon-beurre pasta
A pasta with a rich, creamy sauce and salty jambon that's nutty with great umami. Handmade butter crumble is sprinkled on top of the jambon-beurre.
The sauce clung thoroughly to the noodles, so every bite carried that creamy flavor clearly.
Korean beef strip loin steak, 200g, well-done
Since I visited with my child, I asked for it to be cooked well-done. The thickly sliced Korean beef strip loin was grilled well-done, and the surface came out golden and crisp, giving off a nutty aroma right away.
The grilled vegetables served alongside — asparagus, eggplant, mushroom, onion — went well with the steak too. Their plain, subtly sweet flavor cut through the richness of the meat nicely, making them great to eat together.

Being well-done, it was cooked through, but it wasn't dry or tough at all — the texture was chewy yet tender. With each bite, a subtle juiciness came through along with the strip loin's characteristic rich, nutty flavor.
It must have been good-quality beef, because even with just a light dip in salt, you could fully taste the flavor of the Korean beef itself.

Drink: zero-sugar cola
Served with a cup of ice for extra chill, the zero-sugar cola had a clean, refreshing fizz with a touch of sweetness, giving a nice palate-cleansing refresh between bites.

Homemade cheesecake for dessert
A dense yet soft cheesecake topped with sweet caramel sauce and crispy crumble. The rich, nutty cheese flavor combined with the sweetness of the caramel made for a sweet, dense finish to the meal.
Why I recommend Bokkeriu: final thoughts
If you're looking for a nice-atmosphere restaurant in Hanam, Bokkeriu is worth keeping in mind. Rather than a place you just eat and leave, it's the kind of spot where you can sit back and enjoy both the food and the space together, which makes it especially fitting for a date or anniversary meal.
You can visit from brunch through dinner, and it's a solid choice for a weekend family meal or a special occasion too. If you're looking for a date restaurant or a special dining spot with a good atmosphere in Misari, Hanam, I'd recommend Bokkeriu.
