Yeouido Station izakaya date and a Han River walk: draft beer at Nani
In short
Nani Yeouido Branch is an izakaya with curtained, partitioned booths on the 3rd floor of the S-TRENUE building near Yeouido Station in Seoul. The meal at Nani started with sugar-coated fried hardtack as the free starter, then soy-braised beef tendon, lamb shoulder rack and draft beer, all beside a floor-to-ceiling window looking over the city. Quiet enough for a date, and close enough to finish the night with a walk in Han River Park.

Where Nani Yeouido Branch is and how to book a table
Nani Yeouido Branch is an izakaya on the 3rd floor of S-TRENUE building, not far from Yeouido Station. It's in a spot that's really convenient to reach by public transit, so even first-timers can find it easily, and it's an easy walk for office workers in the area to swing by after work.
Being able to book through Naver Reservation before visiting was really convenient. If you're planning a date or a get-together, I'd recommend using Naver Reservation before you go!
I found this place while looking for a decent Yeouido izakaya where I could enjoy good food in a quiet, private setting, and it delivered on both atmosphere and taste. It's perfect for after work or a weekend date, and great for a blind date too, so let me share my review.

How private are the curtained booths at Nani?
Nani Yeouido Branch has separated booth seating with partitions and curtains at every table. At most izakayas the tables are packed close together so you end up hearing the table next to you or things feel cluttered, but here you don't have to worry about that at all — you get real private time.
It struck me as perfect for anyone looking for a quiet Yeouido date spot or an intimate gathering place.

Even with the private, separated layout, the floor-to-ceiling windows kept it from feeling closed in. The wide-open Yeouido skyline filled the view outside, giving a nice sense of openness.

The free starter: sugar-coated fried hardtack
First they brought out the basic side dish — golden fried hardtack. Normally I wouldn't reach for hardtack, but the crispy texture coated in sweet sugar had me going back for more.

What's on the menu at Nani Yeouido Branch
Looking over the menu, the range of dishes was really varied. Everything from sashimi to light lamb dishes, warm nabe hot pots, and even fusion-style pasta was on offer.
These aren't just simple drinking snacks — each dish is well made enough that you could come here as your main meal and still leave full. I loved that the menu is broad enough to satisfy a group of people with different tastes!

Drinks list: sake, gaoliang liquor and draft beer
The drink selection to pair with the food was also really extensive — sake, high-proof gaoliang liquor, cold draft beer, and more make up a diverse lineup. You can freely pick a drink to match whatever dish you're having, making this an ideal spot for anyone who loves to drink.

How was the soy-braised beef tendon?
The soy-braised beef tendon that came out first had that signature chewy tendon texture down perfectly. The soy sauce seasoning — sweet yet salty — soaked all the way through, giving it deep savory flavor.
The seasoning wasn't too intense or overdone, just a well-balanced sweet-and-salty combo that made it excellent as a drinking snack.

Lamb shoulder rack served on a hot plate
Next up, the lamb shoulder rack grabbed my attention just from its looks. There was zero gamey smell typical of lamb, and the meat was so tender that even people unfamiliar with lamb could enjoy it. Dipping the juicy meat lightly into the fragrant cumin seasoning brought out the lamb's natural richness and flavor even more.

I especially loved the detail that it's served on a warmed hot plate, keeping it hot for a long time throughout the meal.

You get three pieces of shoulder rack, and you can cut it to whatever size you like with the provided scissors and tongs.

Draft beer at Nani, then a walk in Han River Park
After all that delicious food, I couldn't resist a cold draft beer!! One glass of draft beer and all the fatigue from the day just melted away — I really enjoyed it and had a great time on the date.

Nani Yeouido Branch is close to Han River Park, so a post-meal walk there made for a perfect date route. This visit to Nani gave me great food, great atmosphere, and a private space — a real hidden gem in Yeouido.
