Today I want to review a place I took a friend to when I ran into her again after a long time — I wanted to buy her a good dinner in Seomyeon to tell her the news that I'm getting married, since she's the one who introduced me to my fiancé!! Gilchon Sutbul Galbi Seomyeon Main Branch is located at 24 Dongcheon-ro 107beon-gil, 1F, Busanjin-gu, Busan. It's a 2-minute walk from Seomyeon Station and 9 minutes from Jeonpo Station, so it's very accessible from both subway stations~!
[Parking near Gilchon Sutbul Galbi, a Seomyeon favorite] You'll need to use a nearby paid parking lot — there's no parking support provided!!

Gilchon Sutbul Galbi Seomyeon Main Branch has neat round tables set up in a separated space! The tables and chairs matched, which made for great interior design!! The seats felt stable and there was a comfortable amount of space between tables, so it seems like a good spot for a group gathering haha
We ended up at one of these separated square tables!! There were three of us, but this table can seat up to four!
Here's the charcoal being heated up right inside the restaurant!!! Once you're seated, they prepare the charcoal to match your meal!!!!~~!!
What comes free: the 12-dish side spread, with potato salad as the star
The basic side dishes came out — baek-kimchi (white, non-spicy kimchi) and a variety of sauces to pair with the meat! I personally love dipping meat in wasabi, and besides the fresh wasabi they provided, the fish sauce and other sauces were great too!!
They gave each person their own pickled onions and wrap greens, and the potato salad was the real highlight!! We ate a bite here and there while we were hungry waiting for the meat, and it was so good~~ At Gilchon Sutbul Galbi, this Seomyeon pork rib favorite, I loved that this 12-kind side dish spread was free!

The menu has a fresh pork rib platter (500g) and a marinated pork rib platter (500g), both priced the same at ₩29,500! Besides that, there were plenty of side dishes prepared at reasonable prices too!

The meat and fat were evenly mixed, and it seemed like it had been aged, because the marinade had soaked in really well! It felt like the sauce and the meat weren't separate things!!!
Golden-brown grilled meat~~ Since it's charcoal-grilled marinated meat, they came by often to flip it for us! They also changed the grill plate frequently!!

I went with my favorite combo of fresh wasabi plus marinated ribs! With marinated pork ribs, the sauce is often way too sweet and ends up feeling greasy, but at Gilchon Sutbul Galbi, this Seomyeon pork rib favorite, the marinade was just right, so I kept eating!! In the end, the three of us finished two platters, 1kg total,,,,
