Couple's two hand-drip coffees with tasting notes in Hapjeong: Central

In short

Central Site Hapjeong is a rostery café with its own roasting space that opened near Hapjeong Station Exit 2, right in front of Mecenatpolis. A couple stopped by after lunch and, on the staff's recommendation, tried a nutty Ethiopian single farmer drip and a fruity Guatemalan drip alongside a classic tiramisu, each coffee served with a handwritten tasting note. With an outdoor terrace and floor-to-ceiling windows, it's a relaxed spot for a slow cup of coffee in Seoul.

Today I want to introduce Central Site Hapjeong, a rising hotspot near Hapjeong Station that opened not long ago :) Their popular menu items are brewing coffee made from fresh beans and classic tiramisu, and with an outdoor terrace and big windows letting in natural light — exactly the kind of interior I love — I'd had my eye on this place since it was still under construction 👀 They have their own roasting space, so the smell of coffee beans was amazing~ On breezy days like these it's the perfect spot to enjoy at an outdoor table!!

Opened after the Yeonnam branch, right in front of Udong Kaden

Central Site Hapjeong is the newest branch near Hapjeong Station, following the Yeonnam location :) Right in front is Udong Kaden, famous as chef Jeong Ho-yeong's restaurant, so it makes a great route for lunch followed by coffee~

Two hand-drip coffees and tiramisu, ordered as a couple

My husband and I ran some errands during the day, had lunch, and then headed to Central Site for our must-have coffee. There were so many kinds of hand-drip coffee, and honestly I didn't really know or understand them all haha. I said I wanted something nutty, my husband said something fruity, and the staff recommended a couple of delicious coffees, so we went with those :)

Have you ever seen coffee names this long and complicated? Haha. There's something stylish about it, and it made me really want to taste it!! After ordering, we sat down and took a moment to relax~

Even though it was near the end of lunchtime, a lot of customers kept coming in, and a lot of people were picking up takeout too~

Drip coffee with a single square ice cube

Ta-da, the coffee we'd been waiting for finally arrived~ We waited at our table after ordering and they brought it right to us, which was so convenient!! At a glance it almost looks like a whiskey glass, and the hand-drip coffee has one big square ice cube tucked inside, which makes it look even more striking 🤎

A tasting note that comes with the coffee

They also gave us a note explaining the coffee along with our drinks, and I really loved that — instead of just gulping down a coffee I knew nothing about, it felt like I was learning a bit more about it 🙌🏻

The tiramisu was also really moist and soft, melting in your mouth, and it paired amazingly well with the coffee~ If you're having coffee here, I definitely recommend trying it too :)

Outdoor terrace and takeout space

The vibe here is really trendy, and since it's right in front of Mecenatpolis near Hapjeong Station, it's super easy to find :)

There's a space outside where you can order takeout directly, and they've even turned what could've been leftover corners into bench seating with cute little tables, so you can enjoy a leisurely cup of coffee while watching people pass by!!
