I was looking for a Hapjeong Station café with something special on the menu and found Petrico! They mainly serve fluffy soufflé pancakes, and the space inside is spacious — a perfect new-opening café for a date!!

Petrico location, hours and parking near Hapjeong Station

Petrico (PETRICHOR) is a dessert café near Hapjeong Station at 75 Jandari-ro, 1st floor, Mapo-gu, Seoul. It's open Mon–Fri 08:00–22:00 and Sat–Sun 10:00–20:00, and parking is available.

I loved the cute standing sign right at the entrance. The interior mood is wood-tone, with books scattered around, warm lighting, and plants — such a nice setup.

What are the seats and interior at Petrico like?

Inside Petrico there's a variety of seating — side seats, center seats, a bar table, and more — so it's easy to pick based on your group size or preference. There's even a mirror area, and the furniture pieces are all a little different but somehow all match perfectly!

There's also a spot where you can grab a blanket and cushion. This is the first time I've seen a Hapjeong café be this thoughtful... touched. I picked a table with a slightly hard chair and grabbed a cushion for myself, haha.

The kitchen is about half open so you can see inside, which I loved — it looked almost like a showroom, haha. Neatly arranged dishware and cooking tools... even the tableware design was so pretty, ㅠㅠ.

Decor and lighting blending naturally into the space

The little decor pieces scattered around blend in naturally without feeling overdone, right?? Even the lighting is so pretty piece by piece, you can tell they put in the effort!! The interior is so, so pretty — if you're looking for a Hapjeong café, definitely go visit. Especially recommended for a girls' hangout or a date!

Petrico menu and the combination we ordered

Petrico's soufflé menu includes fruit soufflé, chocolate banana soufflé, platter soufflé pancakes, and classic soufflé pancakes, plus desserts like lime tart and vanilla bean cheese tart! You can also pick drinks to match your taste... I ordered the fruit soufflé and coco lime-ade!

They said it would take about 15 minutes to prepare, so we chatted while waiting, and then the fluffy-looking soufflé pancake arrived, haha. The coco lime-ade had such a refreshing scent too!

How does the fruit soufflé taste?

The fruit soufflé came topped with banana brûlée, kiwi, orange, and blueberry, and you could pour on maple syrup yourself. The whipped cream was so cute too, dusted with powdered sugar to make it look even softer, ㅠㅠ.

The banana brûlée was so sweet and moist, and the fruit was so refreshing that it paired perfectly with the sweetness of the pancake!

Cutting into it, you could really feel how fluffy and soft it was... it was so moist that a light press of the fork sank right in, and it seemed to melt gently in your mouth — so much softer and sweeter than a regular pancake, ㅠㅠ.

Coco lime-ade and which drinks to pair with the soufflé

The coco lime-ade had coconut bits settled at the bottom, kind of like Coco Palm, which made it fun to drink! Since the pancake is sweet, it paired really well with something refreshing. I'd recommend ordering an americano or an ade rather than a latte-type drink!
